I’ve been a customer of GMS landscaping for 12 years now, since purchasing our home in the Moorpark Country Club estates.
Genaro has always been very helpful with our 3/4 of an acre lot giving great service as well as recommendations to beautify our home.
Not only has Genaro and crew done a great job on a weekly basis but Genaro has been very helpful clearing drainage that once caused flooding in our patio area. Genaro has an exceptional understanding of plants, when they bloom and what plants work best in different areas. I can’t say enough about the wonderful and complete service GMS landscaping has done for us.

I first met Genaro of GMS Landscaping over 20-years ago. I was remodeling my home in Thousand Oaks and needed a complete redo of the landscaping in both the front and backyards. We discussed my needs and likes and he suggested a few things in turn. Within a few days he had a design and proposal for me.
I had also solicited bids from my present landscaper and another company.
I chose Genaro's proposal for a few reasons... his mannerisms, the design and plans are what I was looking for. Plus the price was substantially less than the other two companies! Actually 50% less that my existing landscaper.
The work was done in a professional manner and on time. The yards turned out beautiful, with proper irragation and most importantly, drainage!
I now rent the house out, but he continues to provide a weekly service, and again, everything is done properly and on time.
I also utilize GMS's services for tree trimming and removal.
The most recent tree trimming was performed by a Certified Tree Climber and the use of Stihl electric chainsaws. Living in a residential neighborhood the silence is welcomed!
