We had my daughter Sweet 16 at the venue. The place was beautiful and the price was reasonable. They have staff that stays the whole time to set up tables and break down. They only reason they didn’t not get 5 stars is because they had a ski show the same day and my guest had no parking. If they are both ran by the city then they should let patrons know to reserve parking.

I booked the venue garden Center for my wedding day on March 9, 2024. On March 8 the day before my wedding, the venue called me and told me that they do not have AC at my location and they are going to move me to a new location, I appreciated them having a back up for me but unfortunately, the new location was three times the size of my venue that I have been planning for for the past six months. Instead of having a relaxing day on Friday with our wedding parties like we initially planned we now had to scramble to make this huge venue work for our wedding day. The original venue had a beautiful garden outside where we plan on having our ceremony and cocktail hour with the reception inside to follow. At the new location they did not have an area for us to get married, except for in the same room as the reception. In order for us make it work, we had to still have our ceremony and cocktail hour at the original location and then transfer all of the items/people to the new location. This is normally common but it’s not something we planned on until the very last minute, we also had to buy additional things to fill up a bigger room along with additional services. The wedding was still beautiful thanks to our exhausted guest that helped! When expressing that to the city of Winterhaven, they stated “well we’re not gonna charge you for the new location” As a stressed out bride, who just wanted to focus on my day this was devastating to hear! Spoke with the Director hoping they would understand, and they basically told us the same thing! Given this place is very affordable, and was supposed to make things a lot simpler. They ended up making my day/my husband‘s day a lot more stressful than we planned on. The venue just doesn’t understand how they affected such an important day to us, nor do they care ?

A lovely venue set in its own gardens. An unexpected oasis in the middle of Winter Haven. They host meetings, weddings and events. Really taken with the modern architecture /design of the building and with the right event coordinator this venue would be exceptionally outstanding for an arts exhibition or a fashionable display.

Held a wedding here and it was beautiful! The staff is helpful and accommodating! We were able to comfortably fit 50 guests, a DJ, catering and bar tender w/ bar set up, in the space provided. They allowed us to use the garden area for the ceremony. Comes with 2 getting ready rooms and full equipped kitchen! Such a great find and at an affordable rate!!

Beautiful place for weddings meetings Memorial Services birthday parties. Inside and out it's beautiful and so accommodating. Best venue in town for your money call today and book. Also looking forward to attending the Fashion Show on October 24th Wednesday they have both a noontime and a evening at 6 fashion show call The Garden Center and make your reservations now

Attended a Sweet 16 Birthday party and it was perfect for the number of attendees. Parking was a problem due to an event at the adjacent lake and the busy kids playground.
