Called yesterday afternoon , the woman who answered the phone said they had 3 sugar maples and 4 joan j raspberry plants. Drove 20 miles this morning, they had neither. Checked and both are still showing in their computer. Don’t count on them having what you need. Very disappointed.

I’m a horticulturist by trade and this is the highest regarded nursery in the industry. Family owned by good people. Definitely stop by if you’re interested in native trees and shrubs, particularly for fruit and seed production.

Look a lot like the source of many large garden centers within the city. There is a little something for everyone, especially if you are into natives to Missouri and North America. Every tree I have planted, did really well. I asked questions, they excitedly answered and provided additional guidance to ensure my plants survived. They even went as far as asking about the surrounding plants to ensure compatibility and survivability of my purchased plants. In all, very happy about the price,quality, and staff. Absolutely no regrets driving the little extra, but because of high demands, call to ensure the plant and tree is in season and available.

I can’t say enough about this place. I’ve made two decently sized, multiple item purchases with them over the last two years. Both times the service was out of this world. This time I spoke with Cathy. On a cold windy day Cathy walked with me and gave me robust info on all possible options for my project. She has in depth knowledge of all items in the store. I live in Wentzville and will gladly drive the 45 minutes to receive the service and great prices Forrest Keeling has to offer.

After finding the shrubs we wanted on their website, and driving a considerable distance to get there, it was disappointing to be told they were not the price listed, because that is wholesale price, but were $15 more retail. It should be stated clearly on their website. The nursery is well stocked and the workers were courteous and helpful.

Huge nursery! Has lots of plants including native plants which I love! I went to a goat yoga even here and loved it! Even got to take a pawpaw fruit home with me! ?

Gardeners heaven. They have an amazing variety of trees. Large selection of Native grasses and perennial plants and Hard to find plants. Prices are very reasonable and staff were helpful. It’s well worth the drive and the drive there is very scenic.

I love this place! They have large large variety of plants and trees and also the staff always helps me with what I'm looking for! Very knowledgeable and it's always a great drive in the country!
