Billing issues 2 starts

I am a small property manager (between 100 and 500 homes and apartments). Besides being a property manager, I am an attorney and a Calif real estate broker.
Forest has been servicing the small garden at a rental home in Marin until I terminated their services early 2020.
They are reliable in showing up and the quality of work for me has been good, but not great. The owner seems like a very pleasant person.
The lower rating is mainly due to the following:
1. Their charges seem high. When I changed to a new gardener, my costs went down over 40%.
After the new gardener started working on the property, the tenants for the first time complimented how great the garden looked with the new gardener. So for me the change was a good move.
2. Their bookkeeping and billing is way below par in my opinion and has caused me significant downtime and unnecessary costs. Be prepared for their bookkeeper sometime going back and billing for work done months back when the services were not included in the interim billing.
