$10K down the drain!

I am absolutely appalled by the service provided by Elevated Landscaping & Concrete.
As young, first-time homeowners, we trusted them to pour a concrete driveway and RV pad on the side of our house.
They assured us that pouring concrete in the winter would not be an issue. Unfortunately, their assurances were nothing but lies.

Within a month, our driveway began developing deep cracks, and the surface started chipping and bubbling. When we contacted them, they claimed it could be repaired with a topcoat. But not before they blamed us saying it was because we put “salt” on our driveway. (we only salt the area in front of our garage. no salt was poured where they did work) We went through this supposed “repair” process THREE TIMES but the cracks kept reappearing and breaking through their so-called fixes.

After nearly two years of this nonsense, we finally had enough. Other contractors informed us that the cracks are foundational, and we need to COMPLETELY DEMO AND REPOUR EVERYTHING. We’ve now wasted almost $10,000 because of this company’s incompetence and at this point, likely DECEIT.

I strongly advise against using Elevated Landscaping & Concrete. They are dishonest and clearly lack the expertise needed to do the job right. SAVE YOUR MONEY and avoid the headache we went through.

If I could go less than not good I would.
I have never had such a horrible experience hiring anyone to do any kind of work for me as I have had working with Elevated Concrete, and In a nutshell they over promise and under deliver. promised quality and the work they did looks like it was their first time and they watched a you tube video before they started. Will probably have to be torn out and redone completely.
The only recommendation I would make is to stay as far away from this company as possible!! I can not stress how terrible enough!! I was told entire project would be completed in thirty days and after 60 days I fired them! Work looks horrible! Found a new company that was great and did a great job!

Very professional, I planted grass near the snow season, and they assured me that in 7 months it would be fine, and if not, to call them. Now it’s summer and my grass looks beautiful. Thank you, guys.

Edit to owners response: We do not want your company touching the concrete at all anymore, as other professionals tell us everything including the broom work was done completely wrong. Also the concrete is missing expansion joints and is damaging the city sidewalk, so blaming “winter” is not going to do it here. No other options were offered; the only way to fix this is to demo and redo. I’m surprised the contractors license was approved for this company.

Unprofessional company to do business with. At this point, we had 3 different contractors all saying the job was done improperly in every way possible and the cracks stem from the bottom. On top of that, IT IS HURTING OUR FOUNDATION OF THE HOUSE. The company just took $10k and left us with more problems. The staff doing the job are not responsive at all. Resurfacing was basically an attempt to “put a bandaid” on the issue.
We have asked for a refund as we are not confident in this company redoing the entire project, and, of course, complete lack of accountability and professionalism.
This is going to be reported to the licensing board and I’m going to make sure that this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

This is one of the best landscaping companies that I have ever worked with. The communication and quality of work was spot on. They did over 2000 sqft of concrete, over 8,000 sqft of sod, a playground area with in ground tramp, tons of flower beds, and a sports court. We are so impressed with the work and they didn’t nickel and dime us either. They even replaced some small areas where the concrete had cracked with no questions asked. If you’re looking for landscaping, just hire these guys. You won’t be disappointed.

We had a large messy project. Remove existing railroad ties retaining wall and put in a new concrete one and new steps to house. Ended up also having him do a new French drain, landscaping, hauling off junk and cleaning up the property. Absolutely great work.
