After a few weeks to let the dust settle I decided to let others know my experience…
I called and placed a small order for Bermuda to pick up for my current home project…I called the day of and asked if it was ready and was told yes come get it…

I Drove over to get this and paid for it…signed a receipt and waiver for any damages that might occur to my vehicle…

I moved my vehicle to the designated parking area and the lady from the office came out briskly and asked me”did I sign the paperwork waiver a second time ?”

This made me feel awkward because I thought she was getting “all legal” on me… I joking around said yes but do I need legal advice?

So “big guy” was overseeing the loading process as I was also for my small half pallet and the fork lift operator was unable to get it on my truck…so “big guy” yelled let him do it…as I having just gotten asked twice to sign a waiver I was to be watching very closely for possible problems… when “big guy” tried I observed the overhang on both sides of the “48”pallet was not going to allow the load to fit by about a foot…I had to yell at “big guy” to stop because the forklift was very loud…he stopped and I was glad because he had not damaged my truck…something I take much pride in being in great condition and being 1 of 3 trucks I have had for around fifty years…I still have 2 of 3 of my trucks…

While “big guy” is climbing down the fork lift he is aggressively trying to make me let him push the load in because they were very busy and I and I told him put it on the ground and I will hand load myself…he put the pallet behind my truck and he and I started loading up grass on my truck and I noticed some creek pebbles and rocks in the sod and “big guy” was careless about letting them hit the side of my truck so I told him to quit loading and he got in my face and pushed/shoved me back and stuck his nose up to mine and sneaked as I told him I was very impressed with his ability to push around this 67 year old man and I continued to load and culling the grass with rocks in by throwing it on the ground and “big guy” calls the st Clair county sheriff while I continued to load my grass…after loading my grass and leaving a passed st Clair county deputy and stopped him and told him I was likely the reason he was called out and told what happened as he made notes…he asked me if I wanted to take legal action against “big guy” and I said no but if “big guy” tells him this was my fault I will be back to do that…as I drove down the gravel road another st Clair police was turning in on two wheels…so I am glad I took time to explain this or the 2nd cop might have pulled me over…so moral of this story…stand up for yourself and don’t let bullies win…

By the way “Big guy” is about 40 years old 6’3” and 300 pounds of a farm boy and a am much less in physical stature but bullies and me don’t get along for some reason that goes back to my childhood..:

Nice folks but was to pick up a pallet @2pm (a time they set) at 3:15 still no sod!!! One would think if the company set the pickup time the sod would already be on site. Finally got my grass at 3:27. The drive said no one told him there was a 2:00pm pickup. Disappointing!!

Couldn’t have a better group of folks to buy from. Matt and his crew are outstanding folks, very down to earth people. Sod is A+ QUALITY. Dixie sod forever has my business.

Now to the person that left the negative feedback, have some PATIENCE, if you had to wait for sod perhaps you must be a very very busy person with little respect for the small folks that work their ass off to provide for their family, that you see fit to leave negative feedback, I happened to be there the day you were there and you were flat out RUDE to these folks, these are not the people that you cuss out like you did, you were extremely ugly to them, they don’t need people like you buying from them, you are more of a pain in their ass than you’re worth it. So my advice to you is GET A LIFE, HAVE SOME RESPECT AND MORE THAN THAT DO YOURSELF A FAVOR A GET A DICTIONARY AND LOOK UP THE MEANING OF PATIENCE #dontbeabulldike
