I had the best experience today with all of the staff I encountered. They were kind, friendly, knowledgeable. Answered all my dumb questions. And the prices were great too. Cheaper than any place I've been. I generally go to Home Depot or Lowes. I have also been to a few nurseries. Check them out if you're looking for plamts.

These guys were great. I shopped around for a year trying to find the perfect fit for my Sylvester Palms and Discount Plants of Florida Came through. Great, Fresh Selection of Palms and friendly customer service. Willing to work with prices and absolutely no games or gimmicks. I highly recommend this company. OPEN SEASONAL: Great selection and a great price. They aren't open year around so you can only hit them up in the spring. They are nestled across the train tracks near the pig bar b q and rebounders. They have citrus and exotics along with the standard Legustrum, Viburnum, palms, Azalias etc. In additional to this they have mulch, pine needles, etc. The mulch is about $2.50 each which is a bit higher than lowes and home depot when they have it on sale but they are one of the only places I have found Pine Needles. I bought some viburnum and citrus trees from them and each time they were lower than everyone else around. They take credit cards and will help you carry your purchases to the car.

Lots of great flowers, trees, and shrubbery for affordable prices. There's a wide variety of fruit trees as well. There's also organic honey, vegetables, and soap for sale too. The workers there are nice and friendly.

We heard about Discount Plants of Florida on NextDoor. People were talking about their tomatoes so we drove 26 miles in search of real tomatoes (we both love a good BLT). We were surprised to see a full blown landscape store along with produce, honey, jams and tons of yard pottery. We bought tomatoes, onions, potatoes and peppers along with two Mexican Petunia bushes for our yard. The total bill was $34. Excellent prices. We were greeted and helped with plant questions and pricing as soon as we walked onto the property. We would go back, especially for the plants due to their pricing. More on the tomatoes later. Oh, and they take credit cards.

This place is located at the corner of US 1 and St. Augustine Rd. In the corner of a large grassed parking lot area. They have a lot of plants to choose from ...all good quality. Prices pretty average. The only negative was that they didn't have many plants not labeled so you had to kind of know what you were looking for. For those that don't know plants , they'd have to ask for help to get the right plants. But happy with my purchases...very healthy plants.
