Hired Dans lawn care to remove mulch, grade , place new weed barrier and to put a cobblestone barrier in my front yard and mulch around my property. Quoted a price of 2300. 1800 for labor and 500 for stock which I agreed to. I was told they were busy and it would be two weeks before they could do the work. No problem. Three and a half weeks went by and no call. I happened to run into Dans brother, Jim and expressed my concerns. He promised his brother Dan would get back to me that day and he did. They came out the following Saturday and completed the work in less than 6 hours. Jim, who runs the jobs handed me a bill for 500more than agreed to. I told Jim that that was not the agreed to price he said to me well, that’s the price. My wife and I reluctantly agreed and paid it. So I texted Dan with my concern about the 500 and I heard nothing back from him. The check was cashed.
The guys that came here to do the work were great. Very courteous and did a nice job. My problem is with the time it took and the 500 dollar overcharge.
