Wow. Just wow! We paid for a pallet of sod. This was on 10/3/2024. We still have no sod and no refund. I understand there was a hurricane however this is not acceptable.
We reached out to the company and were told “we don’t just arbitrarily give refunds” to which we found out that “Patti” the salesperson never entered our order but did in fact take our money. When speaking with staff we are directed to “Vicky” the one who does payroll. She has then delayed refunding our money by stating “I have to do payroll and I will call you back” which that was Wednesday and no call what so ever. When we called yesterday to ask about status of refund, once again another excuse “we are cutting you a check do you want it mailed or pick up” to which I am picking it up, no chance of them “losing it etc” I was told I would get a call to let me know when I could pick this up.
Enter today, Friday 10/18/24, was just told by Vicky that “it still needs to be signed by the owner who isn’t available yet” when I asked when it would anticipated he would be in she said “ I don’t know” and then proceeded to be very short when I stated I will call back at 3:30 to ask again. This is reasonable to ask as we have been waiting all week for some resolution however this company clearly doesn’t care to make things right or refund money. DO BETTER DANNY AND YOUR STAFF- they are a direct reflection of you and your business. No communication? Absolutely unacceptable. Others in the landscaping industry have since told me that this is not unusual for this company and that they are well known for “ripping people off and are known to make it difficult to get products or refunds” wow, wish I would have done my research before we went with them.
Will update when we get our money as I firmly believe I will get a refund and if we have to involve the news etc we will. We have entered a complaint to the better business bureau of course.
Now see response below this- folks this is not accurate as we were never offered sod. They in NO WAY offered to deliver the pallet and DID NOT contact my husband. We have had to call to get information every time- they have NEVER called us. Communication is absolutely horrible with the staff, never mind that it’s the “owner replying “… sure it is, if it was then he would know that there is a problem requiring his signature on a check that should never have had to been refunded. You take money from people and don’t deliver?then it’s a hassle and a fight to get a refund… really? Who does this- as I type I am still waiting to hear from this company about when to pick up said check. Look at the other reviews and simply sort by money… this isn’t the first review of them and money issues, lack of communication and rude staff.
FINAL Update: did just receive refund and spoke with Shannon. Shannon is the most professional and delightful person that we have dealt with at this company. Thank you Shannon for the assistance and a call back.
