We are very new to this product so when we first installed their perennial peanut sod we had concerns about how it looked, but with a quick phone call over to council they alleviated our stress and gave us a quick education on how to care for it and I got to say wow! what a difference 6 weeks has made! This stuff is really cool!!

I bought sod from a company last year and it all died. A landscaper told me about the company and I went to look at their sod and talk to them. This is a family owned sod company. They were very informative and they grow their sod in a soil/sand mixture like most of what our yards are made of and not in muck like a lot of other sod companies. I decided to buy a pallet of bitter blue sod from them. They cut the sod and deliver it the same day. The delivery was smooth and the sod looked great! I laid the sod last week so we shall see how it grows.

I ordered a palette of perennial peanut (try saying that five times very fast) from Council Growers Sod, but BEFORE that, I had many deep, meaningful phone conversations with the very patient, very knowledgeable Keith. Keith was understanding, answered my many questions, ensured what I was getting myself into, laughed at my jokes and humored me until finally after several weeks I actually ordered the stuff. It came today, delivered by the able and jovial Jose. I'm very happy with the care and service. Now to plant this stuff!

We just picked up 800 sq ft of peanut grass - they have been very helpful explaining how to care for, and lay the sod. I do wish I was informed about the 1) pallet fees 2) processing fees 3) MOST IMPORTANT wish we were told we needed to cover the pallets of grass for the ride home - to prevent wind burn and the grass from flying off trailer AND DRYING Out AND LOSING THE soil holding it together - now in search of a Home Depot to spend more money on a cover (we have a ton of this at our home) . Looking forward to seeing this in our yard

I'm re doing my back yard. And can only afford to do a little bit at a time but these are the nicest people. I bought 10 pieces because that's all That I can fit in my trunk. So I'll be back to buy more when I get some money. My yard, Is only 50 X 30. Thanks again for your kindness. I'll be back tomorrow for 10 more pieces ! God bless. Then 10 I bought is looking great. Can't wait to finish it. Probably 10 more trunk loads will finish it.

Very knowledgable about the different grass products they offer. I ordered the SOD and did the pick up myself, and its working great. On a different issue, Travis Council is extremely honest, and genuine. He epitomizes excellent business ethics. Travis, and Council Growers is a business that not only places a value on honesty, integrity and a fair price, but demonstrates it. If I need SOD in the future, this is my first stop.
