Truckers coming and going from Costa Farms at (1468 Bear Creek Rd, Leicester, NC 28748 ) have been seen speeding, engine braking and honking repeatedly coming down Bear Creek Road to the intersection of Alexander Road and on. One of the many drivers participating in these behaviors comes through everyday around 6:50 pm. So we took a picture of the back of his truck which is a Premier tractor trailer marked Costa Farms. The number on the top right of their back end states “ R5240209.” We are unable to contact the farm specifically (as their number is not active) to politely ask them to speak with their truck drivers on behalf of all the neighborhoods they speed and engine brake through. I have contacted Costa Farms corporate to see if you can pass along the message to this specific Farm to remind them they are driving through neighborhoods not on the interstate. My next step is to contact the Department of Transportation asking for a “No Engine Brake” sign to be posted. Additionally, I am contacting local officials to make them aware of these driving patterns.

I recently bought Odenium at Walmart from Costa Farms, they were just delivered to the store so Walmart has nothing to do with the fact that the plants arrived with spider mites. I just have a question for Costa Farms - do you really dislike your job so much that you can't take proper care of the plants you grow?

Ordered a plant that came in the wrong pot. Reached out to them about the issue. ZERO help!!! Don't picture your plants in cute planters and say in the advertisement that that's what it comes in for it to come in a generic white pot! ZERO stars if I could! Will not be buying from here again! Very disappointed as this was a gift for a friend!

I buy most of my plants from you because I don't have access to a nursery. Mostly I am pleased but there are some things that could be better. I am struggling now with a plant because yet again it had no name tag except assorted foilage. Now I don't know how to take care of the plant appropriately. While I was there getting the plant, I asked several employees what it was and they didn't know. I really wish you would label all of your plants appropriately so the right care can be given. And " I am houseplant" just doesn't cut it.

I LOVE Costa! It is so much fun hunting for special plants they have released. The variety they have, the quality. When new shipments start to arrive at local stores, the plant community is whipped into a frenzy, and it is so much fun. The plants are so full, they are generous with the cuttings they put in each pot. It is so much fun sorting through their plants and looking for sport variegation. I have not been to the facility, but I thoroughly enjoy their products.

If you don't know any better than to put an orchid and a kalanchoe into a pot without drainage holes, then you should not be selling plants.

they sell loads of nonnative plants and spray tons of pesticides on them as well. think about the environment before you grow.
