I visited this tattoo/piercing shop last week Saturday because I noticed my nipple ring fell out. I wasn’t sure when it did and where my ring was, I originally got my nipple pierced December 2018 and it has never closed. I was greeted by the owners daughter, she was really nice and helped me pick out nipple rings. After a small wait the piercer Jennifer came out to greet me. Jennifer was very nice, my piercing was starting to close and we tried 2 times to push it through. After I was about to give up Jennifer said let me try something and she pushed it right through! I am so happy I chose to visit this shop, my piercing hasn’t given me any problems and seems to be healing very well.

I was really excited to get my ears pierced! I figured it would be a quick and easy process, so I decided to swing by at 3:30 PM as a walk-in. I approached the counter and asked to get my ears pierced. One of the staff members quickly turned to chat with another lady nearby, asking if she was available. Unfortunately, she shook her head and said no. No big deal, I thought—there are plenty of other places to choose from. Time to take my business elsewhere!

I pride myself on being honest and fair when it comes to reviews, and I feel compelled to share my experience at Professions of the Hand and Tattoo Gallery. In October 2023 Initially, the staff seemed decent, but my visit took a turn for the worse. I went there to get a nose piercing, and the older woman who performed the procedure appeared to be under the influence of something; she even mentioned she was "feeling good." Unfortunately, the piercing fell out the very next day, and the gauge was unusually thin. Instead of using the standard tube method, she opted to do it by hand, which is not ideal.

When I reached out to the salon about the issue, the receptionist informed me that the piercer was unavailable for a few days. After some persistence, I finally managed to speak with her. Instead of taking responsibility, she suggested that I might not have followed the aftercare instructions properly. I was extremely dissatisfied with the entire experience and cannot recommend this place.

In contrast, I visited a shop in Orlando for a second attempt, and it was a night-and-day difference. The atmosphere was clean, the staff was fantastic, and they provided excellent guidance. My new nose ring has held up beautifully for over a year now. Based on my experience, I would advise against visiting Professions of the Hand and Tattoo Gallery.

I can not give enough praise to this shop. Whether you're someone completely inexperienced with tattoos and just thinking about getting your first one, or you're someone covered with ink and looking to add to your collection this is the place to go to. The staff are all extremely knowledgeable and friendly, willing to patiently work with you to make sure you walk away completely satisfied. I highly recommend Axel in particular, he's done the work for my last 5 tattoos plus helped fix/cover up one I had from a previous shop and I've left every session blown away with how good his pieces come out.
