I would give Always Green a zero! We have been using Always Green since 1999 (22 years) - hired them when my husband retired from the Air Force. On June 28th Always Green sprayed our plants and they began to die. The owner, Peter, tried to blamed us -- watering too much or pressure washing our house. Our irrigation has been turned off since June with it being the rainy season and we have not pressure washed our house. The experts I talked to said none of that would kill our plants. Peter pretended to work with us over the next month but now he and his manager, Ryan, have ghosted us. I finally got in touch with Peter by calling him from another number. Apparently, Always Green and TruGreen have a partnership and Peter has been let go. Peter said he did not and will not tell TruGreen about Always Green killing our plants. The giant Liriopes in the pictures were over 25 years old and thriving, as were all my plants. The scheffleras were 4 feet tall and beautiful. I have tried to call TruGreen as my lawyer says they are now responsible, but we have not heard back from them.
Next step is to call Channel 8 and go to Small Claims Court. Bottom Line: Don't hire Always Green. If you are currently an "Almost" Green customer, please beware.

Absolutely awful. We stayed with them for years, and with every day that went by the lawn looked worse than it did the day before. It was always the same type of story...they would tell me I was underwatering, or I was overwatering, or my mower blades are dull, or my sprinklers weren't providing proper coverage, or something else that was somehow MY fault. It was never anything that they were responsible for. I always followed their watering schedule to the letter, and my irrigation system has more than adequate coverage. Anyway, At the end, my once-lush st Augustine lawn is nothing but a barren pasture full of weeds. To add insult to injury, just Before I finally fired them, I reached out to them one last time to let them know how bad the lawn looked (which I did about once a year). They said a manager would call, but that call never came. So, I fired them and quickly received an email saying the manager had been trying to reach me and came by on Friday to look at the lawn, and that it needs iron. What they didn't realize is that I have cameras all over my property...nobody came to my house on Friday at all, and I never received a call. This was the lowest of the low. Just a bold faced lie! Avoid this company! Trust me!

The technicians at this company are top-notch. (Specifically Bill and Andrew.) Reading other reviews, I get the feeling that this company really works to hire competent technicians. In my experience, this really shows.

Originally there was quite a bit of confusion in the office as to what I requested, but the office did work to clarify the issue and there have been no problems since.

I mostly use Always Green as a preventative for bugs (inside), but they have also assisted me with ant hills/issues. When I acquired the property, there were major issues in the yard with ants. Always Green helped me get the issue under control immediately. I once had small roaches in my shower, and they came out immediately to treat and got it under control asap. I have not had any other issues since thanks to their quality prevention treatment, but I am confident that if I were to have problems then they would work quickly to solve them.

Great company. I have been using them for 7 months now and they have my lawn looking fantastic. If I have any issues they take care of it right away. I would recommend using this company to anyone having issues with current lawn care companies. Always Green will get your problems straightened out.
Update:
Not sure what happened but the service went way down hill. I was always calling this company to have issues addressed with the lawn and landscaping. I was told, after many complaints, that they were having a hard time keeping employees and other internal issues. My lawn was looking terrible and I got tired of calling for service issues.

Had their service for a little over a year. There were a few times they came out and didn't even know what type of grass we have. This last time they sprayed with something different and burned the grass. You could tell where they didn't even spray ( it was still green). Found out they didn't do the whole yard (1 side of the house is completely weeds). As someone who pays for a service I shouldn't have to babysit. When I contacted them, the excuses were plentiful. I was supposed to have a manager out here to inspect in 4-5 days. It turned out to be close to 2 weeks. I also have said I wanted a manager to contact me or I would cancel. I got the response I see on here on a few reviews. When a manager finally came out, he looked and said he would give us a credit for the next spray. I called to find out when they were coming, and it was as if I didn't exist as a customer. After a few minutes on hold, I was told " they don't owe me anything and I don't owe them anything." Great customer service (NOT)!!! Their professionalism on the phones need some serious training.

I don’t usually write reviews but I have had such a good experience with Always Green that I had to give them credit. I switched to Always Green after having a terrible experience with a competitor lawn service that ruined my yard. Always Green was able to save my lawn and bring it back to life. Now my yard looks better than it ever has and I couldn’t be happier with their service. They have my business for life.

I work very hard maintaining my yard. I’m particular about the way it looks. For the past several years, I have been pleased with Always Green. Unfortunately, last summer they killed the grass in large sections of my entire yard due an incorrect fertilizer mixture. Some of the affected areas came back with my assistance, and Always Green re-sodded where needed. On several occasions, I had to remind them I was not paying for corrective measures due to their mistake. A billing adjustment was made. I decided to give them a second chance...
Once again, there is a large section of my front yard that has been over fertilized, dried and dead. Only a small green area remains that was obviously missed. Enough is enough. Caution when using this company.

Not only are they a terrific lawn care company, they are one of the best "home service," companies that I've dealt with. They are reasonably priced, my lawn and shrubs looks great, and any time I have a problem the come right out and take care of it no questions asked. Most importantly, they are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Other companies I've used are very impersonal and the technicians cannot answer simple questions; always referring you to call a manager. Always Green never has a problem calling a manager out to work with you, but the technicians are so knowledgeable and personable that it is very rare that you have to elevate to a manger. A company that delegates, empowers all employees, and encourages this kind of work ethic is a great company!
