Tyler Duggar and his team at Coastal Oak Landscape did a great job at our house in August 2023! We replaced all of the shrubs, plants and trees in our front yard. We met a couple of times to review and adjust the design plans that he provided. He and his team then showed up on time with all of the equipment, plants and supplies. They were also very responsive and helpful with post-installation questions.

The entire team from Coastal Oaks contributed their own talents to make our lawn and flower beds look wonderful. Tyler is extremely knowledgeable in his field. The entire team were friendly, worked hard and finished the job in specified time frame . We definitely recommend Coastal Oaks for any landscaping. Homeowners and businesses beware. Think twice and do your research before committing to do business with the landscaping or paver company affiliated the Spencer Marble, formerly known as Sod Boss. He is also running Coastal Oaks Landscaping, Pine Island Pavers and Sod Boss of St Augustine. The overall experience was incredibly frustrating and after much debate I’ve decided it’s important to expose his business practices so that others are aware. Long story short, his business was recommended to me by Lush Leaves to handle the install portion of 16 very large 25 gallon Sweet Viburnum and 3 huge 30 gallon Podocarpus Espalier on trellises. I met with Spencer and his team along with Lush Leaves and discussed install the first day and then it began to rain so team left. When contacted Spencer he said team would be back tomorrow. Team arrived and started to dig and did not have correct equipment despite discussing the delay before so there was a delay waiting on that. Took two days to complete this part of the job while understandably the team took many breaks. I provided water bottles, and coffee and doughnuts as well as $100 cash tips for each of the 3 installers at the end of the job. I paid the invoice in full the day of install which was the biggest mistake of all. Soon after the team left, I turned on my irrigation system to find the irrigation line was completely ruined and the Podocarpus wall was installed almost in a zig zag pattern with root balls exposed. The Viburnum were also not properly installed with many root balls and air pockets and holes in between the hedges when it was designed to be a wall. Messaged Spencer right away about issues but it has been two months and have been given the run around with lots of back and forth with promises to fix and show up to address and fix issues but zero follow through. I am now blocked and unable to make contact and have been completely pushed aside. I choose this company to help me with the entry to my home which is also my business. It is completely unacceptable to have received the poor quality of service. It is only right that his company correct what they have damaged and installed improperly. Yet I have been blocked and unable to make contact. I am simply requesting he repair the damaged irrigation line, address the airpockets, correct the exposed root balls, and straighten the living wall and not have walked away with thousands of dollars for a terrible quality install. Do not do business with this company.

I highly recommend Coastal Oak Landscape. They completed the landscaping, flower beds and irrigation after my pool was finished. Tyler did a super design job and effectively communicated during the entire process. Coast and the entire crew were extremely professional and worked hard with really positive attitudes. All this for an economical price. Great Job!

This was a truly a nice experience. Tyler knows his plants and is wonderful to work with....even when I come to him for a last minute azalea change. His crew is hard working, pleasant and clean up after themselves. Outside of a beautiful new backyard, you would not have known they were here. I will definitely use his company for future projects.

We used Coastaloak Landscaping for the irrigation, sod and landscaping around our new pool and front yard. Tyler is so wonderful, professional and easy to work with. He answered every question we had and gave us tips and ideas for plants and designs. He had a big crew with him and finished the job very quickly. Highly recommend Tyler and his team!!!
