Quite frustrated with the business that occurred between us and the company. We initially got a quick response, the owner had someone out same day to our house to see the work we wanted down and wrote everything down. I had also sent several photos to the owner showing what we wanted to be completed. Not only were there photos, but his employee also was walked through the backyard and shown exactly what we wanted done. I received a quote back for $640 and we were fine with that. Employees showed up this morning to start the work and after about 2 hours, they had to leave to empty the trailer. While they were gone, I received a phone call from the owner that the initial quote was not accurate, the photos were not well enough, and that it would cost at least another $1,500 to complete the job. I was extremely frustrated because the owner had one of his own employees at our house for an estimate and he saw exactly what we wanted done. Not sure how there was such a difference in pricing. I informed the owner we were not looking to spend that much, the employees did not continue with the work. Instead, we had our bins left on the back patio, tree debris all throughout the yard, and it was not cleaned up. We then had to spend several hours moving and fixing what was done by the employees and not put back. The only good thing out of this was that the owner did not charge us for the 2 hours of work that occurred. Either way, $640 and an ADDITIONAL $1,500 were FAR off from the quote we were told and then we had to spend several hours cleaning up the mess that was made. Unfortunately, this is not the type of review I was hoping to write.

The guys did a great job cleaning up my place. My prior landscapers kept shortchanging us on what services they were supposed to do so we fired them. By the time we called Chula Vista Lawn, it was pretty overgrown. The price for cleanup seemed high but after checking around, it's pretty reasonable. I'm confident that they will do a great job on my lawn maintenance in the future.

Charles had a lot of patience with us for as busy as he is and we learned some valuable stuff. I highly recommend this business to people. Hope to do business again in the future sir.

Not often do you find a reliable lawn care service. They've done a great job so far two months in. They are also reasonably priced for the quality of work. I plan to carry them to my next house.

Bonus information. They are very quiet and sometimes don't even know they came.

UPDATED ON 04/09: Intially I gave this business a 5-star rating but after today I have to revise this rating to a 1-star. I called Charles to tell him the guys who removed the two mini palms didn't remove the roots. I would think when you pay for removal it includes the entire tree especially when you tell them you're going to plant something else there. At any rate instead of just apologizing for the oversight I received excuses and when the phone disconnected and I called back I received the most disrespectful call from a businessman not only did he curse at me but then he really hung up in my face. All I wanted to do was let him know about the oversight. It's amazing how an honest call could go so wrong!

I recently had Chula Vista Lawn come out and install my drip system. Pedro and his team did an excellent job in a reasonable amount of time. A week later, there appeared to be a leak in one of my underground water lines. Luis came over and quickly located the problem. Although the problem was unrelated to the drip system, it affected the drip system. Luis provided a plan to resolve the problem and both he and Pedro worked to get everything back on track. Pedro and Luis were both polite and very professional. I would gladly work with them again.
