I live in another town and arranged for Case Lawn & Landscape to make my elderly folks' small, simple yard "house-sale-ready-and-pretty:" pull the weeds in the rock areas and patios, clear out the raised beds and put down mulch, repair the beds' drip system, haul away yard waste and scrap, etc. Case's estimate was $2,000-3,600 for two days of work, depending on the price of the mulch, they said.

(My folks have a separate, weekly mow-n-trim service, so the lawn itself was in good shape and Case Lawn didn't need to touch it.)

They worked from 9-12 and 1-4 for one day only, then made my elderly folks pay $3,800 -- more than the high end of the estimate -- with work still left undone and promised to return, but they didn't. I had to drive out and get on their case to return -- the owner, Jason, eventually came back for less than an hour of work, hauling away most of the rest of the debris and spraying everything with RoundUp against our wishes while glaring at us and refusing to engage.

There are still piles of dead leaves, weeds sprouting from the back and front patios, the raised bed drip system was ripped out and thrown to the side, and of course the weeds in the rock areas are now worse to deal with, being soaked in RoundUp and dead everywhere.

He completely ripped off my elderly parents, who are very distraught about spending $3,800 for 6 hrs of work and not a single weed removed and the yard and raised beds not "show-ready" to sell. They made my folks pay with all the cash they had on hand ($1,000) plus $2,800 by check; he said that they didn't do payment through Angi's List so that they didn't have to pay the Angi fee or pay income tax.

Shame on them for taking advantage of a kind, elderly couple. I will need to hire another service to come in and do what Case Lawn bailed on. They need to do the right thing and finish the work ASAP, before another I hire someone else, or refund my folks at least $1,800.

If you want someone to throw mulch on everything (without weed barriers!) and text you some select pictures that make it look like a lot of great work was done, this is the service for you.

Jason had a family emergency that impacted our start time. He communicated as early as possible so it didn’t disrupt the other work I had already scheduled. He showed up at the new time and, though some tricky work, he had obvious experience to get it done efficiently and well at the price agreed. He and his helper were hard workers. I recommend.

Jason came recommended by a friend. I thought he was going to be like the others, come and then leave then send a high estimate my way. Instead, he gave me a fair price AND brought his tools and gear with him to get it done today. He took down a massive tree branch that broke with the heavy snow we got last week. I'm extremely impressed with his speed of completion of the job but more importantly, getting it done properly. Now we have plenty of wood for our fire pit. We're also so impressed with him we hired him for some additional tree work AND yard work for weeds and other things we tried to get another company to do for us and failed. Suffice it to say, I'm NOT disappointed one bit by Jason! Hard, efficient worker that I'll be recommending to other friends and family in the area.

Jason Case and his crew did an excellent job in removing our old sod and replacing it with new sod. They also improved my sprinkler system. Very conscientious about doing a good job. Case Landscaping will be my Go-To landscaping team. Just moved in town recently and called for several companies for quotes. He was the quickest to respond, he had the best price and did great work! A+++.

They did a complete landscaping cleanup. I Just moved in and the garden and landscaping need a fresh “haircut” because everything was a little overgrown. All the bushes were trimmed away from the house and several trees were trimmed. He also fixed a sprinkler head.
