We visited this place a few times before COVID. It was big and has tons of different plants. It was truly amazing. We bought two plants and they are still alive. During COVID, the store was not open. This is our first visit after COVID. The store has shrunk quite a bit unfortunately. There are only a few “popular” types and those rare ones are no longer available. Sad. I wish one day it can return to the old glory days.

Interesting spot. Not a huge selection but the shoppe definitely gets one’s attention. If carnivorous plants are your area of interest, don’t skip this store. Personally, I just like the sign.

Passing through Half Moon Bay, been wanting to check this place out for awhile, Wish I could go inside but they have window service; Check out all the predatory plants in the display and pick out the one you want. Picked up a giant B52 flytrap. Pods are bigger than a quarter. My other traps are waking up for the season, great time to add to the collection. Good prices here too, B52 plants go for a lot online! Plan on returning in the future!

We stopped here to buy a couple of plants and the person working was very informative. I went with my daughter and son. The employee was so knowledgeable that it was like having a mini class. Thanks so much!!

Do not waste your time. This is not the same place that most of the reviews refer to. It was sold to a new owner (the son?) and has been left to deteriorate. It is just one tiny room with scarce stock at exorbitant prices. We drove all the way down from Marin and could not have been more disappointed. California Carnivores up in Sebastopol is still the gold standard.

I walked in to a promise from the old owners that my Nepenthes cloud be repotted for free. So, I was told the place was sold and was under new ownership. Cool. I Get it. Can I pay you to do this then? No.

This place has changed and for the worst. I used to pay their high prices because I had customer service.

This was all while one girl was stuck glued on her phone doing nothing. 10 minutes later my family and I walked by and entered, and there was one cashier and one girl on here phone doing nothing.

Oh. She told me I could go to youtube do it.
