Charged for a job I didn’t ask for. Ask for help on why I have water settled in my sprinkler box and the side of it and they tested my sprinklers which I already tested and was fine. $100 bill later to test my sprinklers. Management in this company failed to listen and understand the customer.

I have noticed that most of their negative posts were from eight years ago or during the time of COVID-19. The company staffing or worker response has changed or improved over the last eight years. Any negative response from the time of COVID-19 is unrealistic and unfair. Most companies had staffing issues during that time for a variety of reasons. My interactions with the company have all been positive for the past three years (i.e., the time I have been a customer).

We are new to Ben Lomond Landscape services. However, we have used 3 other well-known providers with lack luster results. With one scheduled treatment, the weeds began to die and our grass began to green up and begin to grow after 2 years of searching and switching companies, looking for one who could could give us the results we desired.

The worst company EVER! RUN AWAY from these guys and don't look back! Dishonest does not even cover how awful these guys are. They do not stand by their quotes & lie about the amount labor they use. They showed up at just before 9 am and sat around for over an hour did some work, stood around again for an hour, worked some more then came and said their boss called them to another job and left before 2 pm verified by home cameras. They were here for 5 hours max and did 3 hours of work, now we are getting billed for 2 men at 8.5 hours each! Owner says he uses GPS tracker info for his labor. Said he will graciously knock of $100 of the $1300 labor bill. Also quoted $2500 to $3000 max for some sprinkler repairs, received the bill for over $7300! Same thing, they did 5 to 6 hours of work a day, but getting billed for 10.5 hours times 2 guys per day.

I called in and had someone come out to give us a bid, we decided to accept the bid and have maintenance done in our yard. I've seen them all driving around all over and thought they looked like a good company. After trying to get scheduled well over 2 weeks with no phone calls or any communication we decided to cancel our bid and not have the work done. I called into the office more than once and was given a different excuse as to why I haven't heard back from anyone with a new promise that they would have someone out to do the work or a call back and never saw anyone or received any call. The office staff lost good business. We will never be back.

I do not do these kinds of reviews, but after my experience with this company I am. I If I could give 0 stars I would. I asked this company to come out to fix my sprinklers so that there were no dry spots. They were significantly overpriced but I wanted it done correctly, so I figured you get what you pay for and decided to go with them. MISTAKE!!! Javier came out and moved heads around. It looked like things were working. But the grass was still dry after several more weeks. I asked them again to come fix the dry spots. My issue was still not resolved after the second visit. So, I asked them to return for the third time. Javier never returned. I kept receiving bills. I would call and they said that Javier would return to fix the problem. He never did, even after many calls and being put off time after time. The problem was never resolved. Well, today, November 13, 2018 they finally called me back wanting payment. A month and a half after the water has been shut off for the season! They continue to say it was not their problem and was fixed correctly. Well, my lawn shows differently. So after paying several hundred dollars to this company, my grass has the EXACT same problem as when I had this company come back in May. I had to use the hand sprinkler all summer to water where they "fixed" the issues. They will not stand behind their work. Their customer service is horrible, unorganized, and rude. This is not the company you want to deal with. This company is unwilling to do what is right and make thing right with their customer. Also, know you have no idea even what day they will show up. They come "whenever they are able to."

These landscapers have been quite disappointing. They seem to overlook some fundamental aspects of their work, like proper edging. It's frustrating to see weeds encroaching on our sidewalk, especially when we've hired them to maintain our property as agreed upon. There are other aspects of their service that have been equally bothersome, but I won't dwell on those here.

I would give 0 stars if possible. They don't return phone calls and frequently miss the timelines for deploying lawn treatments. We had weeds even though we purchased the "guaranteed no weeds" 5 or 6 treatment plan, whatever it was. When I called about this, they said they were behind on their treatments, but they always had an excuse for their poor service. When we moved, they said they would come to our new house as long as the yard was smaller. It is. However, they never came like they promised. We called back and they said they had no intention of coming to our new house. We paid for 5-6 treatments (I don't remember which), but only received 3. They wouldn't refund us for the treatments we paid for but did not receive. Stay away from this company unless you want to be extremely frustrated.
