I was very pleased with the finished product and would absolutely recommend Bill Peterson and Artistic Landscape. All landscapers were busy, including Bill, but he was the only one that responded to me and got me on his schedule. I had to wait but once Bill and his crew got to me on the schedule, they worked hard to get it done. The crew was hardworking and nice guys. Bill picked up the planters and pots I selected from two different locations. He listened and provided great recommendations and he definitely has a designer's eye. I have a very small backyard but it looks so nice!

It is hard for me to express my disappointment after having worked with Bill Peterson for over 1 year on my landscape project.

I took my time to find just the right person to work with after the Thomas Fire took most of my garden.

Initially, Bill was very friendly and easy to talk with but by the end of the project he simply avoided the problems that remained and didn't replace the MANY plants that were failing or had died.

His lack of knowledge of plants was surprising. He wisely teamed up with a capable person who did excellent drawings and plant recommendations but became unavailable for changes after the initial drawings and expense, much to my disappointment.

Bill does have an "artistic eye" but has not kept up with issues critical to homeowners currently: water and electrical conservation, fire prevention plants/materials or erosion control strategies.

I was willing to pay more to have someone who listened and followed through with an excellent team. Bill's prices are very high but I was willing to pay for quality. I thought he was "hearing" my concerns and requests but in the end I realized he did not. It was exhausting to try to figure out why .

His workers were lacking and the follow through disappeared. We had many discussions regarding plant choices and substitutions that were simply "not heard". I wondered if there was a serious memory concern or some other issue. This was very confusing to me. I tried to communicate in various ways wondering if I had just not found the optimal way to communicate with Bill.

What started out as a very pleasant project, couldn't end quick enough. Realizing that my voice and plans were not being heard became stressful. This project was a huge emotional and financial investment for me. After a year's effort, many of my concerns and requests were simply not heard or fulfilled.

The separate contractor Bill used for the hardscape, Eddie, was excellent. He does have a wonderful team. All work was excellent and overseen daily.

Bill did not have anyone oversee his landscape workers or the deliveries. He dropped workers off and picked them up, sometimes coming midday. When I saw problems with the work and deliveries, I would contact him and he would follow through but I did not pay high prices to be his foreman.

A neighbor had referred me to Bill. She also lost many plants in the smaller project he did for her. As of 6 months after the completion of my project, Bill is not willing to replace the plants that are failing.

Artistic Landscape just finished my back yard make over, and I am very glad I used them. Mr Petersen is very professional and is a great designer. His recommendations were very helpful when I needed them and I never felt pushed. When I needed to talk to hm, his response was less than 10-15 minutes.
His workers were always on time and were very pleasant.
I would definitely recommend Artistic Landscape to others.

I cannot say enough great things about Bill Peterson from Artistic Landscape. He did an extensive remodel of our large 1 acre yard and it came out beautifully. Bill is so reliable, knowledgeable and professional and really listened to what we wanted to achieve. We now have a beautiful yard that is low maintenance and less water intensive. He redid our yard irrigation and lighting along with installing a mixture of artificial turf, live plants, trees and groundcover. He paid attention to every detail and managed a great crew of workers. I promise you he is worth every penny he charges. He made such an extensive project painless for us. We highly recommend him! Bill from Artistic Landscape has landscaped both my front yard and later my backyard. The front was typical plant landscape while the back was the water friendly type with artificial turf, fruit trees, rose trees, low voltage lighting and decomposed granite. I have been very happy with the quality of his work and the honest and easy manner Bill and his crew approach their job. No pressure, no stress, no surprises (other than good ones!), and very straightforward.

I have continually received compliments from my neighbors and people simply walking through the neighborhood who remark the front yard is the nicest in the neighborhood. Though I do routinely tend to the yard it is really the design and quality of installation that allows for the ongoing good results.

Following the installation of the front yard I had a new roof put on my house. The roofing company contacted me a bit later and asked me if they could use a picture of the front of my house on their website homepage to showcase the "roof." It wasn't the roof they were after but the landscaping below the roof!

Integrity, quality, and friendliness. Highly recommended if you are looking for quality work.

I have had no work done by this company, I am only rating the non existent customer service. I called the company and left 2 voicemails with zero return calls. It's been several weeks. I completely understand every business is busy, but a 10 second call to say sorry we aren't accepting new jobs at this moment goes a long way.
