We discovered several leaks in our irrigation system just as we were about to leave town for two weeks on vacation. Aravat sent a crew that spent all day Friday, August 16, on the property, assuring me they had fixed everything and tested it. I was tied up that day with a Danish colleague so I could not supervise the work--I thought I didn't need to.

We run the sprinklers M/W/F. On Monday I saw a lot of water in the street below our house, a symptom of the leaks. But we were leaving the next day and I was busy.

On our return, I had my gardener, who also does some irrigation work, come over. She discovered that the gusher in the front landscaping was still gushing, and there was still a leak, although not as bad, in the back where they had torn up part of the walkway to get access to make a repair. An issue with the controller was also unresolved.

In short, I paid close to $1,000 for work that was not done, or was not done properly. I was, in a word, scammed. They offered to send someone out a week after I told them about this. But my gardener will fix it and I can assure the world I will NEVER let Aravat back on the property to risk being scammed again..

This August, I used Aravat Landscaping to turn my design for a front yard desert landscape into reality. Eduardo (the owner) made a reasonable bid and I liked his customer oriented approach. Byron and Luis were the crew assigned to the project and I was pleased with their handiwork. In addition to their craftsmanship, they arrived on time each day and were hard working. As a testament to their work ethic, the project fell on some of the hottest days of the year and they still finished it in a timely manner. To be expected with this type of project, there was a change order required which was amicably worked through with Eduardo to arrive at a fair outcome. Our experience with Eduardo and his team was nothing short of exceptional. Their price was fair and competitive with others I'd received. They cut through a concrete pad to replace a drainage pipe that had collapsed and repaired the concrete to the same level and quality when they were done. They also had to replace a pipe that was in a 1 foot wide space between our garage and fence. They did this without hurting the fence or wall! Amazing, since just getting in there is difficult, let alone actually using tools and working as they did! They were on time and cleaned up so nicely after all their great work. The rain brought new problems and Eduardo was accessible by phone and came to help within a couple hours! He was a flexible thinker and came up with a solution that worked well for our new issue. His crew was back the next morning to solve the problem. If you need someone reliable and who cares about the quality of his work, Aravat Landscaping, with Eduardo, is a great choice!

Aravat Landscaping is my go to company due to their high quality of work and professionalism when it comes to landscaping. I have hired them twice for two big projects which included demoing the existing patio, leveling the entire yard, installing DG, installing sod and sprinklers, pouring concrete, and planting 13 hedges.

Eduardo is very communicative and keeps you in the loop throughout the project. Whenever I requested small changes, he always remembers and it is executed the following days within the schedule promised.
