Don't get me wrong its a great place for the things you need and want. But I was offered a position right away and went through all the process and paperwork to get started and then not even an hour later I get a phone call saying I don't have the position. I mean if your not going to hire someone at least be the owner of the place and tell people yourself instead of having the agency call in place of you. Its very Disheartening and a Huge let down for those in any company who choose to not give someone a chance regardless of the past. I wish them the best but companies regardless how small or big should not treat others differently. Everyone deserves a chance.

I called to ask if they were hiring and soon as I answered the male gentleman was very rude. When I called he answered and said hello? I said hey! And he didn’t say anything so I thought I lost him and he was rude with a second “hello” And I said hey! Do you guy’s happen to be hiring right now and he said no and before I could even Finnish my sentence and hung up on me. I have never been to this store before but even if you guys were hiring I could have been a customer with a concern and would not want to be the person I would want to deal with coming to my home and be rude to me. Definitely a one star. Cmon Allentown road nursery what’s going on with you workers and their customer service skills?!

The first time I went there they were closed because it was raining is what I was told. I didn't see there sign since it was a small one so I looked up there phone call and called so they opened the gate so I could look at the trees that I was interested in. I did go back the next weekend and got the trees that I wanted. They need to get with the time's since all they take is cash or a check, they were nice enough to bill me. I will definitely go back if I'm looking for a tree or bushes.

The lady who answered the phone said I didn't need the large amount of garden soil/topsoil I was asking for. I gave her the dimensions, depth,etc....she said I don't do that math ....Then how did she have the knowledge to say I didn't need what I wanted to buy I actually got a chuckle out of her. She wasn't neccesarily "rude" but she was very blunt and pushing her fact-opinion on me...lol...it is a great established nursery. I guess they don't feel the need to be courteous, kinda cantankerous with a twist of tired of serving the public. But good healthy plants and trees! 4 stars for quality, -2 stars for grumpiness! LoL! I'm also blunt myself so I could take her attitude!
