The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They took the time to answer our questions and advise us on certain plants for what we were trying to accomplish. You wouldn't get that kind of help at, let's say, Lowe's garden center. They would just say "right there's our fast-growing tree section."

Their prices for their plants are very reasonable, if not the lowest that you'll find. We do try to support the local Independent business versus the big corporations.

I highly recommend them, if it's not to far out of way to their location.

My new favorite nursery! I love a small and diverse nursery, one that is family owned and run. I went to Bald Mountain Today for a free clinic in pruning fruit trees. It was great! A knowledgeable gardner took us out into his orchard and showed us exactly how and what to prune. He also answered a million questions about fruit trees in general and other trees as well. We went back to the nursery where he showed the best way to prune citrus and roses. I bought some product today and I will certainly go back for a carload of plants soon. Friendly and well stocked without the big box store prices or generic plants.

Has a non-commercial feeling. Staff are real with lots of hands on knowledge of plants including what works as far as deer, soil conditions, elevation. The grounds of the nursery are beautiful and their prices are reasonable. Plus they have this cool model train that runs around the inside of the main lobby.

My new favorite plant nursery. Family run, they are super helpful, there’s selection of plants that are either native or do well in our environment. The prices are half what they are in grass valley / Nevada city. They have mature trees too.

As a person that works in the landscaping industry it is good to know that there is a nursery that is dependable for information about plants. Sometimes I find their prices lower than Home Depot and Lowes. The location is also in a very peaceful location. The people there are always eager to help and you end leaving feeling satisfied with your purchase.

The absolute BEST Nursery for all of Yuba City, Marysville, Olivehurst, and Plumas Lake cities !
It is such a beautiful, peaceful, full of beautiful plants and trees place !
Every time I go up there, I want to stay there..
Absolute best quality stock, amendments, and world-class-service !
Pricing is also very, very, competitive and most of the time, better, for better quality plants.
They even deliver !
