My experience was very strange and I'm surprised to say what I'm about to report about a clearly well-established company with a fair number of excellent reviews. Mike Morales came to give me an evaluation and estimate for a front yard sod project. His conversation with me was so technical that I could barely understand anything he said. And the estimate came back over 3X higher than all of my other estimates. He bid the job at $28,000 and I was going to have to hire an additional electrician. The company I hired will do the job for $6,200 and no additional person needs to be hired. I got other bids at $3800, $5500, $6500 and $8000. I have no idea what factored into Total Landscape Concepts evaluation that it would cost $28,000.

We hired total landscape concepts to pour a new driveway and walkway, and a total landscape demo and install, I have to say it was pretty daunting picking the right company, after going through all the reviews of different companies and getting estimates, we decided to go with total landscape concepts! They were extremely professional and patient with each step, Dave walked us through each step, and David, markie, memo and Carlos did an amazing job, they were prompt, friendly and efficient! And most of all, they did an amazing job! We are very satisfied and would definitely recommend this company and crew! Thank you total landscape concepts for our beautiful new front yard and driveway!

The 3M crew (Memo and Team) were great. They did a new shade tree install, fixed irrigation, installed a new timer and aerated and seeded the lawn. They had a quick turnaround time between quote and being able to come out and do the work. Very efficient, professional and knowledgeable.

We just moved into a house that has not had a lot of updating since it was built in the 80s. A huge issue is the drainage on the property, which is on a hill. We wanted to add a drainage system and convert a patch of tanbark back to the lawn area it was originally (inclusive of sprinklers). Since the area had existing sprinklers, we wanted to see if we could get a company to help us reconnect, and do the drainage. Total Landscape was recommended on Facebook and so we reached out. Every correspondence took much longer than anticipated. TLC eventually came out to give us a quote, and would only provide a verbal quote of $7500. They said they sent the pdf of the quote, but claimed it was my email account preventing us from receiving it. They also said they couldn’t give us specifics until the did an audit of the sprinklers and drainage, and it would cost $900 (4 hours for 2 workers). I tried to push on what they would learn, and how much it would save us. They kept emphasizing it would save thousands of dollars, and it was to do a full run down of our systems. I finally gave in, and I regret it. It took 3 hours, the drainage even less (as we had NO system to evaluate). And I was still charged $900. After WEEKS of conversing, I finally got a quote (turns out they had my email wrong the whole time and never double checked it). The quote was higher!!! For ~$9K!!!! And the drainage would be to my back neighbor, who is lower elevation to me, not the front of the house, which is the proper way to do it. So, it would have been the same cost to get a whole new system, in a third of the time, and done better. And, they refused basic improvements other companies were offering to include. I can’t believe I wasted $900 and 2 months of my live playing phone tag.

Called and was able to schedule a visit by Jeff to get an estimate. Walked over the property good exchange, and suggestions. Called twice, left voicemails each time, no emails, returned. No texts returned. Totally Ghosted!!! Totally rude, and screwed our schedule to get the work needed done!! No explanation

I had to move out of a rental property and into a house I just bought. I wasn't going to get my deposit back and possibly sued due to the condition of the yard. All this was my fault. I had MULTIPLE (and I mean multiple) companies come out and give me an estimate on getting it back to where it was before I moved in. I had about 3 weeks before the move and they came through. They fixed all of the broken sprinklers and put down new sod. The yard surpassed good. I felt like I should have charged the homeowner my deposit times 2. They were fast and reasonable. The girls were unbelievably nice and helpful over the phone. The gentleman that came out Tim (easy to remember, same name) had a ton of knowledge. He even helped me move out a bookcase! I enjoyed working with this company so much that they are now doing all of my landscaping at my new house also. Thanks for helping with the design Tim! Stick with what you know works is my philosophy. I made a mistake with payment and they were very understanding. They didnt blow me up over phone or email. They simply sent me a letter (to my new house) and I was able to send it then. I simply forgot. I will tell you, I wont go elsewhere. These guys rock! Thanks Team Total Landscape!

The crew sent to our house to conduct an irrigation audit were not prepared and did not resolve any of our issues with our system. We called in our complaint and were treated very courteously and offered a full refund or other services discounted for the irrigation audit fee we had paid. We elected to take the refund because we had resolved the problems ourselves. We appreciate a company that responds to its customers which reflects good business practices.

We found Total Landscape Concepts on Angie’s List when browsing for artificial turf installers. My husband called and spoke with the owner, Tim, and he let him know that they were very busy but if we let him know what we were thinking of he could get us a quote and a timeline. My husband sent over the info we had and Tim came back with a quote. We originally thought it was a little high, but really didn’t know how much it would cost in the first place to install this type of landscaping. Tim said that he would encourage us to call around and get other quotes so that we would know this was a fair deal. We called 3 other places and Tim’s quote was under all of theirs, so we felt confident with the pricing. Tim let us know that he had an opening in his schedule for a month and a half out and if something opened up sooner he would let us know, so we scheduled it.
Tim came out a couple of weeks later to measure the yard as well as bring us samples of turf to choose from. He was very professional, informative, friendly, and reassuring that this would be an investment that we would get a lot out of.
Tim and his team arrived the day we had them scheduled and got right to work. His 2-3 employees were very courteous, clean, professional, and friendly. Tim checked in with my husband throughout the day discussing some items like drainage lines that were already established under the soil, previous piping, drip irrigation, etc. By the end of day two everything was complete and the yard was transformed. They cleaned everything up and even took out some extra dirt piles we had in the yard from before, and sprayed down the patio and swept up the whole area. We were beyond thrilled with the outcome. What we really appreciated was all the extra work and care that Tim and his team provided, beyond just the turf installation. We had an eye sore of a hose spout and sprinkler controls that he changed out and re-did the drip irrigation for the rest of the yard so that we wouldn’t have to dig anything up in the future. He even used the remaining crushed granite material he had to cover the dirt path and give the yard a finished look.
Thanks to Total Landscape Concepts, we were ready to host a party that weekend. We highly recommended Tim and his team and are very happy with the outcome!
