Have often passed the sign to Knoll Gardens today we finally visited. What a really great garden to walk around with so much colour and gives one so many ideas. Also good retail area to purchase some of the specimens and introduce into one's own garden. Will definitely return soon.

What a lovely place, first impressions, friendly welcoming staff, good car parking and clean toilets. Lovely little shed for tea/coffee and pay on trust in the office.
Free entry for RHS members. The gardens are not huge but plenty to see and plenty of benches for a rest. The grasses and perennials on sale are high quality and reasonably priced. Can’t fault it and will definitely visit again.

Beautiful this time of year. Grasses are superb and can buy virtually all the things on show in the garden, in the nursery. Inexpensive to get in, lovely trip out and seats all around for those that need them. No cafe, but hot and cold drinks, crisps and cake bars available to purchase.

One of those places you wish you had visited earlier. Very laid back and relaxing atmosphere. The gardens are interestingly laid out, and access is generally good although wheelchair users will find some parts very difficult without assistance. The nursery has a wide range of grasses and flowering perennial plants, no scented candles or Christmas tat though ?. Refreshments are available on a self service basis, and you pay in the shop when you leave, very trusting, but it seems to work ?.

Knoll Gardens is an oasis of tranquility and delight. Beautifully planned, planted and maintained it offers much to visitors, whether gardeners or those who simply enjoy the peaceful and restoring qualities that this garden engenders.
Although quite small the garden seems larger due to a backdrop of trees that provide scale and context for the exquisite planting, paths and water features.
There is a small nursery and a self service refreshment facility, all beautifully maintained by friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely gardens to look around for inspiration and ideas, as we were, planning a gravel garden. I wish a few more plants were labelled, but our plant recognition app helped. There is seating at various points and even summer houses to dive into if it rained. Knowledgable staff in the nursery, too. I would certainly recommend.
