I don’t know what’s happened to this place, but the service people were rude and the outside help was harder to find then a Home Depot employee. To top it off the red mulch I got is at LEAST 1/4 dirt. All the other times I have gotten mulch and other supplies here and the staff was helpful and the mulch was much better quality.

They are out of 1 1/2" blue Granite crushed rock because of the rains? But they still have a lot of options and pricing is competitive.

Today I had the best visit, my first time here at this business, everyone was so helpful, the gentleman that helped was knowledgeable and friendly, answered all my question and got me exactly what I wanted, and the young man that helped me to my car was just as friendly and helpful. Wish I could give more stars

Very helpful. We're trying to decide between real rock veneer and manufactured stone for siding on our mountain house. They have lots of samples and gave us pros, cons and possible installers. We'll definitely be back!

Javier from the El Cajon called me the other day after I sent in an online inquiry. His personality shown through the phone and very personable. He offered costs and answered my questions and even emailed me a snap shot of our conversation as I write notes sloppily. Bought about $7k of product from them across five or so different visits, including a return of unused product. Every time I talked to them they were friendly and helpful. Delivery was great each time. Selection is decent.
Prices are better than home depot and the products are nicer.

I shopped around for landscaping rock and a boulder for many months and visited nearly every such busniess in the county over the last year. Rock & Block consistently had the most competitive prices, but also had friendly and helpful staff at their counter and in their yard, and they were more willing to engage with a non-contractor than their competitors, which I appreciated. Finally, when it came time for our delivery, their delivery specialist, Jim, was very friendly, super helpful, and taleneted with the forklift! I recommend Rock & Block without reservation.

Really impressed with our lunch today at Bar and Block. Food was delicious, we spend £12 for a delicious main + dessert and our waiter Josh was fantastic, he was lovely and gave recommendations and made sure everything was to our satisfaction! Will be coming back!
