Flores Artscape helped us do a total front yard transformation. We LOVE our new garden--an artscape that makes us feel proud of the front of our home. We are not only extremely happy with the final outcome, but we also appreciated the process this company used to get us there. Our project was somewhat complex, involving transforming our front yard, which started as mostly dead grass and no stairs (see before pic), to what you see in the photos--including installation of a new staircase and flagstone path up the hill, installation of several colors of gravel winding through the garden, installation of a low flagstone wall to retain the gravel along the sidewalk, and installation of many plants. We appreciated that before we entered a contract or paid any deposit, as part of their bid, Flores Artscape produced a visual concept design for us based on what we had shared about our vision. We also appreciated that Flores Artscape was happy to integrate some existing brickwork and retaining walls into the design, and to coordinate with our sprinkler company to integrate the installation of drip irrigation into the project schedule. What we most appreciated was the company's consistent focus on ensuring customer satisfaction, down to small details; they always addressed our design concerns, requests, and punch lists, including addressing a few broken plants discovered after final payment. Of final note, our project coordinator, Nancy, was always very responsive to our texts and went the extra mile to source types of flagstone and plants that we really wanted but that the company hadn't used before. We highly recommend Flores Artscape and hope to use them again to transform our backyard one day!

Flores did a great job redesigning my front yard. They were helpful and responsive throughout the process. We finalized the design and plant selection over the course of a week. The quote was clearly broken down, competitive, and comprehensive. They started when they said they would and worked every day (including Saturdays) until the job was complete. We got Jason's contact through a friend, and he was immediately ready to hit the ground running - he helped up with the entire design process, came up with plant ideas, worked through budget questions, and got everything lined up to start work on our back and front yard. We were looking to do a smart yard revamp on a new rental property in Los Angeles. The property had a remodeled house and a recently-built 2nd unit. So, we wanted a landscape design that would work with a budget for a rental, as well as provide separation of space for the tenants that were going to be in each unit. Also, since I don't live in LA, I needed a team that I could trust to communicate creatively with me and get the work done in an organized manner. After interviewing several firms, I felt that Flores was the best fit as they were happy to get creative to get this done on a budget, were available, and were well versed in what would work in this situation. Cody was on top of the project from day 1, and presented a design that matched our goals. Eric and team communicated almost daily, and offered solutions and suggestions that I hadn't even thought of. We spent a LONG time going through the deck of colors for the sunshade, and it was clear that they really wanted the best for our project. They were able to come up with great plants that will require almost no work, suggestions for pops of color, and a design that maximizes use of a shared space. These were definitely the best vendors that we worked with on this remodel. I have already invited them to look at another of our properties....

Flores helped us design our amazing new backyard. The designing process with Jason was really great and he was very accommodating. Rumuldo oversaw the project and was very communicative and helpful. The pictures show the empty blank slate and how they helped us make it in to desert oasis with a concrete slab for a hot tub in the middle. Definitely recommend working with Flores!

Not only did they give us a very quick and extremely reasonable bid, they worked with us to find the best solution for our problem both in price and construction. The work was completed very fast, very clean and very well done. The scheduling, communication, work, follow up was all incredibly great. Where do I start! I am so grateful to have found Flores Artscape and could not be happier with the results. I live in a house where my front yard is my only yard (there is no backyard) and I wanted to start making use of this outside space. With a 2-year-old toddler and 2 fur babies needing an outdoor environment, I needed it to be safe and practical for all. I had my own set of design ideas but knew that I needed guidance and an expert eye to make my ideas a reality. What I knew I wanted: artificial (pet friendly) turf on one side and a deck on the other side.

This is where Eric comes in. Eric was the salesperson/designer that came out to provide a consultation and quote. Eric is awesome! He is this really cool, super knowledgeable, honest, personable guy and he totally sold it for me. He is a great representation of this company and after meeting him, I knew that I wanted to do business with this company. What I appreciated the most was that Eric was honest with me. I shared some of my ideas and although he never said it could not be done, he gave me great feedback including why he "would or would not do this/that" for me to think about. In turn, he provided me with other design ideas that I had not considered, which I ended up following through with and getting done. The only bummer was that after that initial contact, I was only able to thank Eric via email. Thanks again Eric!

Next was Arturo, the amazing project manager. I cannot say enough about the level of professionalism and customer care Arturo demonstrated. There were multiple daily check-ins with me throughout the process to see if I had any questions or concerns. Be prepared, this company sends an army of workers to get your project done! Arturo was skilled at coordinating all the work and getting his crew to get the project done in a timely manner. Daily, each group of workers knew their task and got it done. It took these guys less than 2 weeks (about 9-10 days) to finish the project. They work fast (excellent work ethic!!), they are detailed oriented (the nails on my deck could not be any straighter), they clean-up at the end of each workday and they are all just a great group of workers.

Financially, this was certainly an investment. I believe that they are pretty comparable with other companies, maybe a little bit more expensive, but it has truly been worth every penny. Their work is impeccable, and it has been one of the most stress-free house renovations that I've had done. More importantly, the best part of it all, has been seeing my little girl enjoy the new grassy area and beautifully constructed deck.

I am so incredibly grateful! 🙂
