We were so happy with the work that David and Kim, and 3D Designs by David did in helping us master plan our backyard. David had wonderful vision, listened to what we wanted, and offered great insight and suggestions, all of what we were looking for in a professional designer. It turned out better than we could have hoped for, and David and Kim were always easy to reach and communicate with.

David also was able to recommend different trusted vendors, and checked in throughout the process to make sure things were moving along with our contractors as planned.

David was a godsend to us as we were planning our front yard makeover.  We had an oddly shaped space and had very rough ideas of what we wanted to do with it, but the details were not coming together.  We both have very busy schedules and do not have the time to pour into planning out every detail of our yard.  Every contractor we invited either wanted us to give them specific ideas or just said that they will do the work as they see fit, loosely taking our ideas into account.  That did not work for me!  Being a highly visual person, I wanted to know exactly what the end result would look like and wanted a lot of say in it as well.

Meeting David was like a breath of fresh air.  First, his level of professionalism and expertise was most welcome after meeting one undependable contractor after another. David spent a lot of time with us understanding our taste and style and he requested that we send him photos of things we like online or in person.  In the meantime, he sent someone over to take detailed measurement of the yard, as well as take aerial video footage.

A couple of weeks later, he sent us the first draft of his plan.  This was one of my favorite parts.  He captured our vague vision and our specific taste extremely well taking every detail of our conversations into account.  He did exactly what we were not able to do ourselves. He didn't just give us a drawing and diagram, he provided a video where everything came to life, it was exactly what we needed to move on to the next step.  We had a couple of small revisions we requested, but other than that, we moved forward.  David even recommended a contractor who did a great job.

I feel so much joy each time I drive up to our house, our yard looks amazing.  Every person comments on how well done it is and asks if we designed it ourselves.  Happily, we let them know that we hired an amazing expert whose vision was brought forth in real life.

We highly recommend David and his team!!! They will elevate whatever project you have and you will continue to appreciate his work for years to come.

3D Designs was referred to us by a friend. We sort of knew what to expect since we viewed the 3D video created for our friend's backyard landscaping. We were excited to meet with the team and learn about the design process. The full team met with us - David, Kim and Jack - during the initial consultation and walked us through each step of the process. We were impressed with David's knowledge about landscaping and construction and listened to the advice he gave us once he surveyed our lot and reviewed the basic ideas we shared. What I believe was very helpful to us was completing the questionnaire provided to help organize our ideas and likes and dislikes for the landscaping and layout of concrete which we also discussed with David and his team. The team contacted us at each stage and we either met in person or had a review by phone to gather more information and answer questions. Once the plans were ready and our 3D digital video was completed, we were jazzed to see the results! As we proceeded to get bids from contractors and started the HOA approval process, we contacted David for some changes and advice and corrections to meet the HOA guidelines. He and his team were very prompt in replying to our calls and making the necessary adjustments and requests to get our plans passed by the HOA design committee. David and his team are knowledgeable and competent and were very responsive to all our requests and questions. They provided us with the perfect design for our yard that we are enjoying today and for many more years to come!
