We can’t say enough amazing things about Landwell. We absolutely love our backyard. My wife and I do not trust easily, but Landwell went above and beyond! If you’re looking for a design + build experience, for so many reasons you have to go with Landwell.

My wife and I were after a modern boutique hotel rooftop vibe for our backyard. Their lead designer Joslyn learned all the elements we wanted, provided additional elements we didn’t know we wanted and packaged everything in a beautifully cohesive design.

Owner Jon and the crew Ryan, Woody and others were incredible to work with. Always in great spirits and willing to accommodate any additional requests no matter how big or small. They had passion and took pride in their work. We’re grateful we went with them.

They took our completely empty dirt back yard to complete transformation in 3 months. We are continually blown away. We plan to have additional work done on our front yard and will only use Landwell. Thank you again to the entire Landwell team!

Jon and his team are GREAT! The Landwell team is super up to date with all the newest coolest LED technology and control options. My company has been working with Landwell and their clients since 2016. Since then I have got to see how professional they really are (HARD FIND ON THE CENTRAL COAST). ? I literally have my dream backyard and it’s all because of Landwell Design + Build. ?

Their design process and staff are beyond comparison. I am an interior designer so I had high standards for how the process would get to the end result. Joslyn, the landscape designer, starts the process. She came over to see my sad patch of weeds for a yard. I told her my wish list and the aesthetic I was going for. She drew up the most beautiful plans and right from the get go I could see my vision and her design come to life. Joslyn gets it. SHE REALLY GETS IT. After the design phase, we smoothly transitioned into 'budgeting phase'. That is when Jon takes over and goes over pricing and budget. He is very honest and clear about what can be done and not done within the allotted budget. Although we couldn't get everything we wanted, (due to budget), we were happy with what we ended up choosing to achieve 90% of the backyard we dreamed of. After budgeting, we scheduled the work to be done. When production started, the crew started on time and began working on time and extremely professionally. From the start I could see they really cared about their craft, as the work was done beautifully and professionally. Matt and Marcus became our buds. I can't say enough about how meticulous and thorough of a job they did every step of the way, we REALLY appreciated that. They knew how much this backyard meant to us, and they did everything in their power to deliver us an excellent experience all through the process. In our opinion, the job was pretty big so it took about 4 months to complete with work happening almost every day for that time. In a limited space, we were able to create an entire outdoor fully built out 9' x 12’ office space for my husband. We have a dining area covered by a pergola, a fire pit corner, a hot tub, and decent sized grass area (synthetic turf) for our kids to play. It truly is a show stopper and I am in awe everyday when I look out those sliders and see what they have created for us.Thank you so much Landwell. The Landwell team are amazing to work with. Joslyn and Andrew have been helping us for 4 years iterating on our backyard as our needs and family grew. They worked really hard to meet our budget and make sure we got the most value.

Their work is modern, high quality, and has stood the test of time (and 2 kids). Matt and Jon were great to have on site, always really friendly and easy to work with during the install phases. As their name implies, it’s a design then build process, and we found both phases professionally managed by the company. Once the design was completed, the most exciting part was implementation of the design and seeing our landscaping come to life. Thank you so much for designing and building our beautiful outdoor living space! It is truly a sanctuary. Attention to detail was consistently present and not a single shortcut was ever taken. A friend walked into the house on Sunday and her gaze was immediately drawn to the finished backyard. The double patio doors were wide open, the tranquil music of the bubbling water fountain floated inside the house, and the sunlight was gently filtered by the maturing lush and beautiful landscape. She studied the completed work with awe, then said “This backyard looks like it was created for a Sunset Magazine photo shoot.”
