I contacted Jose from D&M landscaping / Zen Scape due to drainage issues in my front yard. During rainy days last winter season, rainwater water would pool around the side of my house. I wanted to get that taken care of before the rainy/storm season begins so I contacted D&M for some drainage solutions. Jose came in person for an estimate. He is friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He completed his assessment and provided the solutions to fit my needs. Reasonable price for work performed. He scheduled me onto his calendar and came on time and ready to work on the day of the project. He brought his team and a mini excavator to dig up the dirt, sloped and connect pvc pipes to drain excess water into the canal. He also placed rocks around the 2 catch basin as discussed. Some sprinklers were not spraying properly but he got his team back out right away to fix the issue and now they are spraying as usual. Using the hose, I put water into the catch basins and the water is flowing through the connect pipes out into the canal. Wife and I are very happy and satisfied with the installation. I plan to have Jose work on other landscaping projects in the future. Highly

My yard needs a lot of work. The dirt in the back yard was much higher than the foundation. The recent storms caused water to pool along the house and eventually allowing water to make its way into the house. Jose and his team did a great job removing/grading the dirt from my backyard. They did an awesome job on adding the drainage system and paving a section of my yard. We are not done yet!... to be continued.

Jose did a stellar job. We have a massive redwood with the worst roots imaginable that made trenching and installing irrigation a nightmare but it was no sweat for his guys. Jose also installed drainage and regraded the yard to direct water away from the house and to the street. They laid sod and put mulch around the house and it looks so good. He kept me posted along the way, and was fair with the costs. He wasn’t pushy, was very accommodating of what we wanted, and offered ideas where we were unsure what to do. We finally have a yard we can enjoy. I am so happy with the work that was done and would hire D&M again and highly recommend his services to anyone looking to transform their yard. I greatly appreciated Jose’s priority on doing the job right, well, and at the highest quality.

Jose and his crew did a wonderful job with our drainage issues. 11 trenches, 3 pits, and no more water collecting next to the house. Quality work completed in a timely manner. Jose is very polite and easy to work with. He is also fluent in both English and Spanish. I received written quotes before work was started and written receipts after work was paid for.
