I was a customer of PIE for about 15ish years, but when Brett moved to Lawngevity, I followed him. He's outstanding in his knowledge of 'all things lawn' and very thorough. He doesn't just go through the motions when treating our lawn like other companies. He's attentive, communicates well his plan to bring your yard back to green, and then follows through with it. I highly recommend this company, but especially if Brett is on your route. He's the best!

A picture is worth a thousand words. So instead of boring you with a super long review about how great and knowledgeable Jonathan is, I'll post a few pictures and let you be the judge. Also, its important to note that my yard did NOT look like this before he took over. The improvements were immediately noticeable and drastic to say the least.

I have been using Lawngevity for the past 6 months. I pay $140/month for lawn, weed, tree, and pest services.
Initially, they were doing a good job, but the weed pest/tree service has not responded to issues and repeated service calls.
I have aphid infestations that are now killing my trees. They keep telling me they are going to send someone out to treat. In the meantime this is my hibiscus tree that was beautiful, healthy, and blooming a couple of months ago.

Would you be happy if you paid $140/month for your trees to look like this?

My experience with this company was less than satisfying. While their fertilizing services are commendable, their approach to weed control leaves much to be desired.

Their inability to resonate with my' frustrations was evident. They seemed comfortable with a lawn overrun by weeds, attributing this unsatisfactory state to soil quality, rainfall, and external factors.When there was clear issue of either miscalculation in herbicide concentration or using the incorrect one. Ultimately, their pride hindered them from owning up to their errors.

A straightforward acknowledgment and a promise to rectify their mistake could have made a huge difference. A simple statement such as, "We acknowledge the issue and are committed to resolving it. We will reapply the treatment, and if the problem persists, we promise to revisit within a month," would have sufficed.

However, their response felt more like a scene from 'The Emperor's New Clothes', where unpleasant truths were being ignored. Trinity, the owner, sets a tone of indifference, and I found little hope for improvement from the technicians under such leadership.

Hence, I’ve decided to redirect my attention to a different company that values customer satisfaction and stands behind the quality of their services.

Update: the implication that I was just a recent customer and didn’t give it enough time is blatantly false. I have moved on to using PIE or Plant It Earth. After a single weed application the weeds are dead and all my issues are resolved. After 9+months with Lawngevity all I saw was more weeds. After using PIE for one treatment, 2weeks later they are dead. Must be all the acid rain 😉

Brett with Lawngevity has done an amazing job caring for our yard!
It was in rough shape because our HOA landscape company is subpar at best. Brett is very professional, knowledgable and personable in answering related questions on our turf and landscaping. Lawngevity has a great asset with Brett as a great worker! Highly recommend Lawngevity for your lawn care needs and make sure to ask for Brett!

Scott, from Lawngevity, is a dedicated and very affable technician. He has made a major improvement in my lawn. If he does not have the answer to a question he’ll get one from the proper source. He responds to calls in a timely manner and will revisit my property to investigate various concerns that surface. A+!
