Just wanted to give a shoutout to Alana Johnson and the good folks at Agriscape Sod in Sarasota. I had dirt for a backyard and decided to try my hand at sod. They were easy to work with and delivered freshly cut (that day) sod within a few days of my order. Fair price, easly delivery, and the sod has responded beautifully. They have easy to follow post-install instructions. Would highly recommend. My tip: if you install yourself, get a machete for cutting the sod to fit uneven/small spaces...massive time saver!

Couldn’t be happier with our sod install. Randy and his team had to pivot several times due to irrigation installation as well as a hurricane. They took everything in stride & were absolute professionals. The yard looks amazing now and we’ve already gotten several compliments. Great job AgriScape!!

The Agriscape owner was at my house within 24 hours after I called for an estimate. We had just had a new septic tank and drain field installed and the yard was a mess. The estimate wasn’t the cheapest I had received up till then, but after all the explanations and education I received, I quickly realized this is the company I wanted to use. A date was set ( within a week ), and when their team showed up, we had a whole new beautiful Provista St. Augustine lawn within a couple of hours. When finished, they cleaned up nicely and spent plenty of time telling me what I needed to do for the next couple of weeks to insure the grass survives and thrives. Good people, reasonable prices, and prompt service- that’s how successful businesses stay successful.

As soon as we requested a quote for sod, Paul from Agriscape was at our home the very next day. He gave us what we considered to be a good price and sod was installed the following week. They were done in a day, and the sod has done remarkably! It’s only been one and a half weeks, and it’s already rooted, and is green and lush. In another 10 days or so, it’ll be ready to mow. Very impressed with the company and the quality of sod. We highly recommend Agriscape. (Don’t mind the trenches you might see in the picture. We did things backwards and had an irrigation system installed after the sod)!

Very disappointing experience with this company. Ordered sod online and indicated two available delivery dates. They confirmed for the second date via email. 48 hours ahead they were not able to source the sod for the date they agreed. Called and left one message asking if original date would be fine (it would have per my order notes online). To be fair, I get so many robo calls I did not check voicemail. No text, no email, no follow up call. No showed on delivery date and when I called to ask them they were not sure when they could deliver. Said they could not reach me other than calling claiming my email doesn’t work (though I had order confirmations and delivery confirmation emails) and my phone doesn’t accept text messages. I asked for a refund. They tried to say no refunds because of their disclaimer (which is no refund after delivery). Then agreed to refund but did not action for two weeks. When I followed up, they issued a check for a partial refund. I had to dispute with my credit card and they dragged it out as long as possible.

They are the absolute best! Randy and Paul were both extremely responsive and so easy to work with. We called to inquire about getting a quote and Paul came out that day and followed up with a quote later that same day. So fast!! They were able to schedule our job for the very next day. Showed up with a hardworking crew and the job was complete just a few hours later. It looks amazing!! we had some large odd shaped stepping stones to sod around and they did such a beautiful job cutting the sod to fit around each perfectly. The best experience! Would recommend them 110% and would use them again in a heartbeat.
