Jeff Newkirk did an absolutely brilliant job designing and installing over half acre of landscaping for our home in Gulf Breeze. The transformation was breathtaking and the process was painless. We enthusiastically endorse Newkirk Landscaping as both a highly competent and ethical business, and Jeff Newkirk personally as an extremely knowledgeable landscape designer and hands-on plants man.

At the beginning of the process, we met with Jeff and asked him to adapt a plan we liked which showed the shape we imagined for the back yard beds and a list of plants we like and don't like. He spent time getting the feeling of our property and adapted our plan brilliantly to fit the space. His team shows up when expected, and jumps in to do the work with focus and enthusiasm.

Our boring corner lot was transformed through artful grading with a huge John Deere tractor, giving our space height, depth and a harmonious flow. WOW. When the plants, trees and sod were installed we had neighborhood traffic slowing down in front of our house to take in the transformation. WOW AGAIN.. All healthy, low maintenance plants with color spanning all of the season.

I would also like to say that Jeff has the work ethic we wishing EVERY contractor would have: when our irrigation system had issues, Jeff jumped in to be a go-between with the irrigation contractor, and resolve the situation even when it wasn't his problem. No static, no whining, just gets the job done. Brilliantly. THANK YOU FOR A BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPE WE ARE PROUD TO CALL OUR HOME.

Our den flooded after Hurricane Gordon's rain storm. (13 inches in Gulf Breeze). The rain overwhelmed our old drain across our driveway and water backed up into the garage and then into the den. . Newkirk came out and said they could dig up the old drain piping and replace it without messing up the gravel drive under which the drain runs. When they were through, you could hardly tell that they had dug a 30 yard trench through the yard and down the gravel drive. They found that the old drain was silted up and crushed in certain areas. The new drain works perfectly and we are confident we will not have any more problems. I highly recommend Newkirk Landscaping.
