I visited Getting Green on December 4, 2023 to purchase a tree. Someone entered the office and was asked to show me the trees. He had the audacity to say," he was the only one who could show me the trees, but didn't have time and return with my landscaper." He was rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. Very poor customer service. SHAME ON You! Don't waste your time or money to support this business.

On Thursday, 05Apr18, I went into the office and met with Jose. I requested a Pink Tab of 10-12 feet, to meet landscaping requirements. He said they didn't have any, that he could order one, but it would only be 9 feet tall. I approved it, and he input it into the computer, at a cost of $145. On Monday, I called and he said it was in the yard, and tagged. On Tuesday, I went into the office; I paid the $145; was given a receipt; and went to the back to pick-up the tree. The person in back said the tree was not a small tree (30 gallon container) like on the receipt, but a 45 gallon size.
I went back into the office, and Jose said there must have been a misunderstanding; that he never said it would be a 30 gallon size; that I didn't listen to what he said.
I'm holding a receipt that says 30 gallons on it, and asked who printed the invoice. He said that doesn't matter; that I misunderstood.
I called the manager, and he said "That's too bad. This tree costs $395. Do you want it or not?"
I have ordered plants and sod from many nurseries, and have never experienced out-right lying such as this. I would strongly urge you to go to a reputable business, and one is not one.

Owner Robert Shoelson, President. He is very rude. Do not BUY here. He will rip you off with prices. And try to put in a show, when you tell him you can go to homesteaded and get Trees quarter of his prices. He will tell you, NOT call his office anymore. He does NOT need customers.... Just BUY PLANT FINDERS book and you can go buy directly from Nursery and do NOT have to use this company

The staff has been nothing but helpful and patient and the owner is always professional and attentive. I know I am not the easiest client but I am always treated like family. Great Nursery too!
