We had bought sod there on our own a few times for our side yard. Then hired them to re sod our front yard and swale. They just laid sod on our old yard.
It looked great the first two weeks then noticed actual pieces of sod drying out turning brown in blotches with weeds growing through. They told us to buy a fungicide and spray yard every two weeks. We did that at additional expense of $75. Nothing helped. They said it wasn’t their grass it was from moisture/fungus on our old yard. Then why plant $800 of new grass on top of old grass instead of removing it first? Our yard and side look horrible now. We maintained it from day one. The people who work there are very nice. I don’t really like writing this negative review. I think they should have stood by the grass tans job they sold us. But now going through this again with our grass I would never buy sod from them again.

Great st augustine sod prices. By the piece pickup is very easy. They have many workers that help load everything in your vehicle. I was in an out with 40 pieces of st aug in 4 minutes today.

I had sod installed and a small section of the yard raised by Garizmos a few weeks ago. They did an awesome job and the sod seems to be rooting very well. Remember:
1) New sod requires frequent watering. Don't forget to water it 2x/day in very hot weather. After a few weeks, you can decrease the watering to 1×/day, then every other day etc.
2) I applied antifungal after 2 weeks as all the water was causing the grass blades to get brown spots and look pale. (I probably soaked it with too much water.) Now, it looks great.
3) If it is the time of year for grubs, be aware that grubs love new grass (they didn't come in your new sod, they just like it better than the old). You can apply grub killer if need be. (Luckily, I did not have that problem.)
4) Don't apply fertilizer for the first couple of months.

The best customer service in all the nurseries in the area. He is very attractive, and will explain everything you ask. They have all kinds of plants, even when the others don't.

Good selection at good prices. The signage is not the best for someone like me that knows virtually nothing about plants. I was looking for partial sun or shade loving plants & Russel was very informative & helpful. Staff even loaded my selections in the truck for me. I went back to buy a Jamaican strawberry tree & was kindly offered a discount. I will defintely buy from them again!
