Stopped by today for the first time and immediately fell in love.
It it wasn’t for the heat, I would have spent a while longer there just looking at the bumblebees and butterflies enjoy their many thriving and beautiful plants. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I left there thinking about the next time I could come back!

Won’t buy sod from them again, it’s already dying and I’ll most likely have to rebuy from one of the big box stores. Most of the sod I picked up was almost completely devoid of soil and multiple pieces tore as I was loading them. I didn’t think much of it at the time but now that it’s installed it’s not taking root.

Excellent nursery. The staff are all extremly helpfull and knowledgable. The nursery has a very good selection with reasonable prices. I'm here way too much but my yard looks great! Highly recommend checking it out. This one photo is but a small example.

Normally I do not change a poor google review ( a bad experience is a bad experience) however, I am going to give this nursery a star review for the way they handled the resolution of my problem. All of the sod that died was pulled out and replaced with new sod (which I bought again) by Durbin Nursery. They left detailed instructions on the care of the new sod and have promised to come and check on it daily.. The new sod looks great! This was a fair resolution and so I'm giving them 5 stars.

Do not buy sod from this nursery!!! We bought 17 pallets of sod ...all dead in a week. Two lawn care companies came out and both said all of it had root rot. Can't get anyone from Durbin Nursery to come and look at it to even see if it can be fixed or if it has to be replaced. They say they only guarantee the sod for 2 days!, well it took about a week for it ALL to die! and now they owner is too "busy" to even come to the phone. Stay away from this business!!!

In response to your answer, my son in law who is handling this has called multiple times and you have not come to look at the lawn or helped us at all. He will be calling again today.

I am SO happy I didn't pass this place up to go with the typical Home Depot trip. They had much better quality and variety of plants, and their prices were even better. I don't think I've ever been so impressed with customer service, either- Lauren, Thank You SO much for your help and insight. Knowing which plants work well with one another, and letting me know how to maintain them, while prioritizing my preferences for look and accounting for my concerns is beyond appreciated. I had the most pleasant afternoon chasing my toddler chasing the butterflies there (be prepared), and he enjoyed helping me plant everything once we got home. We'll be back!

What a wonderful nursery. We were lucky enough to have Jason as our tour guide, hands down the best customer service we've had, maybe ever. It is truly such a pleasure to see someone doing something they have joy for. His abundance of knowledge was extremely helpful. He told us everything we could possibly want to know about each plant over a period of maybe a little over an hour! He helped us pick landscaping plants based on the amount of sun and how it would grow, and advised us on proper care for each species. Based on Jason alone, we will continue to purchase our plants here. Thank you again, Jason -your fellow former food service folks.
