We’ve been coming to Florida for 4-5 years for Jan+Feb stay. We were told of this place actually by another wholesale plant business! Drive by it all the time and never really knew it was there! So impressed with the helpful staff, especially with April. She was like a long lost gardening friend. This time I was only interested in some products I can’t get where I am from and they happened to have them on sale! My husband and I are hoping for a tour when his sister comes over from Crystal River and another tour when my girlfriends come down from up north! What a wonderful place for plant lovers!

8 acres of magnificence. Incredible knowledge, classes in the coffee shop, and enchanting events like butterfly releases. A must-stop for gardeners of any age or level.

The is a great local find! Lots of options for indoor and outdoor plants, fountains, decorations and more. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety, quality and pricing. We happened to go for their annual butterfly release event that they do for the community. It was well organized and a “must do” for the children and grandchildren! My “35 year old baby” lol insisted on going and I am happy we did.

Had a fantastic shopping experience at The Yard Shop where we bought a beautiful Christmas Palm. Joe was great & he gave us a ton of information from the different types of palms, how to plant it and care for it. Joe also helped us with picking out a few beautiful ornamental grasses. It was our first time here and we’ll definitely be coming back. Thanks for everything Joe, you have a customer for life ?

I’m excitedly awaiting the install of the beautiful Crepe Myrtle I purchased on November 5. April went above and beyond to ensure I picked out the exact one I wanted. They were incredibly busy, but she made me feel like I was the most important customer of the day. April went over everything with me including delivery, installation with the right soils and fertilizer, what to expect from my tree. I’ve bought from yard stop many times and have always been ? satisfied. Thank you April for everything !!! ❤️

We visited with April. She was fantastic! She answered all our questions and offered valuable suggestions for plant choices. I brought this cute guy home with me today and will be going back to purchase plants and trees in the near future! The Yard Stop Garden Center has a large variety of plant material. They have seven acres with a huge variety of trees, palms, tropical plants, cacti, fountains, yard art, ceramic pots, and several mulch and rock varieties. In their
Garden Tool Center they have wheelbarrows, gardening tools, rakes, shovels, gloves etc. Garden hoses, pumps, sprinklers, raised beds and more. Employees are helpful, but not pushy. I'm certain that we will be back again.

We contracted the Yard Stop Garden Center of Mt. Dora to repair our driveway. Not only was the office staff a pleasure to work with but so was their Sales Representative , Brandon Towne, and Eddie and his crew that came to make the repairs. Eddie and his crew arrived this morning and got to work. We are so very thankful for their diligent work and their desire to provide what we wanted.

Let me tell you that the completed job was far above our expectations. Thank you all for your professionalism, courtesy, and caring to provide excellent service at a reasonable cost. Thank you again Eddie and Crew, Brandon, and Dianne and Chis, and Yard Stop Garden Center of Mt. Dora.
