This nursery is an experience in itself. I could go on and on on how large this location is. You can stay here for hours. Full of variety and the merchandise inside and around the house are so beautiful and unique. This location also offers the hostings of parties as well as hosts events such as farmers market. Canterbury Farms has always been a wealth of wonderful gardening supplies, plants, trees, and shrubs. I find them to be a lot more helpful than the bigger box stores. You know the orange one in the blue one and their prices are a lot better. I have no complaints about Canterbury Farms and nursery and garden center. I would give them a five star review as they are very nice people. The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable and the place is always clean. You don’t see any weeds growing or you don’t see any dead plants growing anywhere they put out the best and make your visit very informative as well as enjoyable. But my complaint or my dissatisfaction on today’s visit which is Saturday they have a monthly farmers market with vendors of all kinds selling different wears. My main interest in going there today was because it was advertised. There would be homegrown fruits and vegetables or seasonal vegetables for sale. They opened up at 10 o’clock, but there was no fruits or vegetables for sale and there was only maybe a half a dozen vendors. I was very disappointed and I had asked someone when the fruits and vegetables vendor would arrive and I was told, well, she has another hour to get here, but I don’t know if she’s coming today. That was very disappointing and I was looking forward to purchasing a great deal of fruits and vegetables. So as far as Canterbury Farms goes, I would give them five stars, but for the hype of their farmers market and vendors and advertising of fruits and vegetables. I really would have to give them a two.

Visiting for the first time we can state that this nursery is HUGE. We were after purple Crape Myrtles and CF had a wonderful selection that you just cant find at Lowes or Home Depot. We found exactly what we were looking for in many different sizes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dont do what we did and use Google maps (or GPS) to find the place or you will wind up on rutted out dirt roads that look like scenes from a horror movie...use the directions on the website.

In March of 2024, we found this nursery by accident and were able to get 75% of our landscaping from there. At first, things were going great, and for the most part, they still are after 7 months. But we have a problem with one of our very expensive crepe myrtles (we bought 4). We were given instructions on how to plant them and were meticulous with the way we made sure that we were following those detailed instructions so that the tree would thrive. Sadly, the tree did not thrive and it died, no matter what we did. Thinking that Canterbury Farms would replace the tree we called them and asked them what we should do. They said to send pictures of the tree, which we did but after a week of no response, we drove to the nursery to try to speak with someone about it, but they told us that we had to go back to the tree and do a "scratch" test on it and then take pictures again and resend them. We told them that the tree is dead but they keep sending us back to do more stuff to it and have been totally giving us the runaround. All so they can keep from replacing the tree! We are completely fed up! We have spent over $2,000 on plants and trees from them this year and they won't admit that one of their trees was not in good health and died, no matter how carefully we tried to take care of it, following the instructions meticulously. The other ones we bought are thriving but not this one! So now, because they are treating us like this, we have decided never to do business with them AGAIN and will be SURE to warn everyone we know not to do business with these people who are more interested in saving a buck then fixing a problem for a customer! Sad that they are willing to lose our business, our positive review AND our referrals over 1 defective crepe myrtle tree!

It is so rare at this point in time to experience such exceptional customer service, in addition to the most outstanding inventory I could imagine. A few months ago I purchased a Japanese Blueberry tree at Canterbury Farms. Much to my surprise ,EVERY SINGLE PERSON I encountered at Canterbury Farms was knowledgeable about the inventory, paid attention to my questions and needs, and was as pleasant and kind as anyone could ever expect. The installers were on time and terrific. It was a real pleasure to do business with Canterbury Farms. I recommend it to anyone !

OUTSTANDING!!!
Worked with Matthew in designing landscaping layout for front Garden layout and separate Flagpole area. Gave him photos of area(s) ideas I was thinking, and he provided a rendering with plants and trees laid out. He then showed me onsite the exact plants and trees to be used so I had a better idea of what everything would look like. He took the time to describe each and type of care required so I understood what I was deciding on.
Crew showed on date/time agreed and Install went flawlessly.
Loved the fact they used Rock Solid Stone Center for stone used in garden. Rock Solid delivers stone in "Drop N Rock Hopper(s)" that leave no mess in your yard.
Outstanding service from beginning to end. Matthew was awesome and crew were great as well. All pricing reasonable. I will use again for any future landscaping required.

Had a great time here today! Every single staff member that we interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming! Really great selection - I could have stayed and looked around for hours! My only regret is not grabbing more.

Went looking for bird of paradise, which they had at a reasonable price. Super friendly, helpful staff. Great selection of plants. They also host a Farmer’s Market and have rentable space for special occasions.
