My wife and I wanted to install an automatic cover for our pool, but our existing brick pavers were unsuitable to support the cover. We got quotes for a new pool deck from 3 companies and went with Alvarez because of their good quote and excellent reviews. Chris was our main point of contact for this project, and he did a great job accommodating our our needs throughout the project.

Unfortunately, when my wife and I opened the pool for the season we found that one portion of the pool wall had buckled into the pool, causing a bulge. Worried that this would lead to the wall collapsing if not addressed, we shopped around for someone in our area who would do pool repairs, but we could only find companies who would build us a new pool for much more than we wanted to pay for this project. We called Chris to tell him the bad news, but he told us that he could fix it for us. He found a pool expert from hours away to come down and fix the pool wall, rip out the old coping, replace the liner, and replace the pool fittings. The excellent Alvarez crew made in-pool steps for us, installed new coping on top of new concrete that can support the automatic cover, rebuilt our paver step, and installed our ladder and pool railing anchors into new concrete.

Now my wife and I have a brand new pool deck to go with our brand new (looking) pool. Chris even gave us a 10 year warranty on the work, so we are hopeful it will be a long time before we need any of it redone. If it wasn't for him and his team my wife and I would have had to fill our pool in, but now we get to have people over to swim! Thanks Alvarez!
