I purchased 4x large pots ($$$) of petunias from town and country. The very next day i noticed grey mold damage on over half of the flowers, in 2 of the 4 pots purchased. I have never had grey mold in my garden/in any of my potted plants. I must have overlooked the signs of mold at the base of the plants upon purchase.
I tried to return the damaged plants only TWO DAYS after purchasing, and was quite rudely refused any form of return or simple exchange.
I returned home to re-pot the plants in larger containers with hope that space and separation would negate the mold. Both plants were totally and completely root-bound, which only confirmed my suspicion that these plants were likely last year's neglected and re-purposed leftovers. I would avoid this business.

absolutely a place where they won’t help you in any way! I asked a question about fertilizer, the staff doesn’t even know if it’s toxic, they have no idea what they are selling and don’t even try to understand the question and help the buyer. The young girl was especially arrogant and helpless.
Will take away my dollars to Danbury place or Stamford. Brr, horrible aftertaste from there !

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have gone there for years however last couple of years plants have been under par. 2 days ago I bought a beautiful looking fuschia 19.99 this morning it is covered with aphids.
Disappointing. Shall I discard it before adding plants to my deck ugh ugh

This is the place to go for diseased plants. Two large rosemary plants that showed signs of disease within 3 weeks of purchase. Store has a policy of no returns.

Meh... expensive and fairly ordinary. Blow up the picture on Google, they close for July and Sugust ad well as a couple mos in the winter. Gotta pay that rent, charge more for plants.

Always top notch service and quality plants. My number one nursery for 10yrs. Selection and service make up for being pricey. To combat higher prices, consider balancing budget by buying “fill-in plants” and top soil at your lower cost nursery.
