Home Sweet Home Landscaping is one of the most honest, competent, efficient, and detail oriented companies I have ever dealt with. They definitely cater to the customer.
We hired them after our new build was finished by another excellent company Pinnacle/Collective Design. Israel is very creative and knowledgeable about design and location drainage issues. We did not need a Landscape architect because of Israel’s experience. They will do anything the customer wants, from a nice basic landscape, to a high end landscape, with no pressure on what the customer decides. Their crew is exceptional. Very hard working and each member seems to be very detail oriented. My hat is off to them. During the project, Israel and his brother Levi were always hands on and available for questions. Any cost additions were quickly sent to me for approval. When you hire a company that you have never dealt with before, you don’t exactly know what might happen. After the first day Home Sweet Home was on site, it was clear that we could sit back and let them do their job. Very refreshing. Thank you Home Sweet Home!

Home Sweet Home did an amazing job at our house in Silverthorne. They were honest and showed up when they said they would. Israel and his brother Levi both have a keen attention to detail and they genuinely went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with the job. The crew was professional and easy to work with. We are proud to support this local family-owned business. You will not be disappointed if you reach out to the team at Home Sweet Home to get a bid.

Simply put, Home Sweet Home does amazing work! Our property was basically a barren wasteland with no shade and certainly no curb appeal. In just a few days, the entire property has been transformed! About 20 trees, ground cover, mounds, rocks, mulch, gravel pad for hot tub, and irrigation system were installed. The crew were pleasant and certainly worked very hard. I would highly recommend! I get several compliments each day from people walking by. I wish I had some “before” photos to show the improvement….

HSH just finished a marvelous landscaping project for our new build home in the Hughlands neighborhood of Breckenridge. They were quick, they did what they promised, and in many cases they delivered even more than we bargained for. We were impressed with the professional approach and a commitment to doing things right without cutting corners. They were pricey but I think we got what we paid for, and let’s face it, everything is expensive in Summit County.

We highly recommend them and had a great experience with Israel and his crews.

Abraham and his team did a great job in landscaping our new-build home. They have a large crew and got the job done very quickly. The quality of the trees and shrubs was much better than I expected. They created a dry stream bed with cobble, laid a temporary irrigation system and hydroseeded. After inspection, the county asked us to move two trees (not the fault of Home Sweet Home.) The crew was out within a couple of days to move the trees. I highly recommend them for responsiveness and quality.

After over 20 years of dealing with “Slow Growing Mountain grass”, which was basically weeds and mud, we decided to put in a walkway, 2 patio areas and surrounding landscaping to complement our existing trees.
Home Sweet Home did our project, and we couldn’t be happier! They far exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend them!

Apparently I can't respond to an owner's comment. But I can't let this go without clarification. First, you were not hired for "phase 2" of our landscaping. The initial job done post-build was so poor, we had to bring you back to make it look decent. We were getting comments like "we love your house, why didn't you do any landscaping?"

Second, it did look good initially. No argument there. But we have subsequently seen that the irrigation system wasn't installed remotely correctly (not buried deep enough, holes have developed in the system, system was not blown out correctly). You claimed that you would come to fix the existing hole and that's been followed by no action. You said you don't want to blow out the system, which we paid for, and we're still waiting for that refund check....

Third, you also told us that you hydro-seeded the yard. We've subsequently had another company come and say that, unequivocally, that is not true.

Fourth, you installed weed fabric under the rocks that hasn't even prevented weeds or grass from growing through for a year. Not even a year.

Finally, we were never asking you to replace any trees that were eaten by moose for free. We simply wanted to replace them and we were happy to pay for the work. This was subsequently done in expedited fashion by another company.

You have not come to fix anything that is wrong. Quite frankly, that is fine. We'll get it done with another company. But since you claim that you are "responsible, professional and reliable" I had to respond to your post.

I'm now done with this. All I will say is buyer beware.
