We always have a great time at the nature center! Kids programs are fun, educational, and engaging. The trail loop is always a really nice hike, any time of day or year. Registration for programs is on their website and everything is very affordable!!

Flat, beautiful walk with a creek on one side and ponds on the other. Felt like Snow White out here with the deer, squirrel, and birds nearby. Went back in December for a surprisingly sunshine-y stroll to relax.

Fountain Creek Regional Park is a great park and one of my all-time favorites!

There are trails all through the protected wetland area where I've encountered a family of turkeys, owl's, deer, herons, red winged black birds, turtles, lizards, frogs, gopher (bull) snake, garter snake, dragonflies and damselflies galore, butterflies, hummingbird moths, beaver, muskrat and the elusive Bobcat.

If you love bird watching or nature photography this is the spot!

There are 3 ponds where fishing is permitted but NO FISHING in the wetland area behind the Nature Center!

Besides all the duck poo on the sidewalk, it's a gorgeous place for a quick stroll. The ducks/geese are pleasantly towards humans. Which is nice when your dog loves to watch them.

We decided to have our son’s birthday party here and I am so glad we did! I was surprised at how spacious the event room was. It even had a balcony which overlooked the water. It really highlighted what a gorgeous day it was. The employees were fabulous and so helpful. The kids and parents enjoyed it immensely. I would consider having another birthday party here because of the wonderful experience we had. Thank you again!

Lots of fun learning activities for the whole family! We saw so many birds and wildlife on our walk, it was amazing!
Unfortunately, no wheelchair accessible entrance (no push buttons for doors or bathroom door) and the loop from the nature center is a hill on both sides.
