I'm in absolute shock. My mother who is 80 years old was coming home from the hospital today. My mothers best friend of 30 years wanted to make sure she had a pretty bouquet to come home to.
Trying to make things easy, I picked up the bouquet to make sure it would be there when she got home. The price for the bouquet was $81 - $85 dollars.
When I walked in, I was absol7tely speechless! I told the sales girl that I couldn't walk out with this awful, pathetic excuse for an arrangement. I promised my friend I would go to a place that has had the best reputation in Boulder, as I've lived her for over 20 years, and Sturtz, has always been the gold standard. I'm posting a picture below of the arrangement I did get to post here for you all to see. I then told the sales person that I had to get a picture of any other bouquet that they had in the store that was bigger and better looking than this, this, thing!
I brought a better bouquet of a dozen roses. From King Supers that I bought for 16 dollars! Here's a picture of the wilted, tiny, sad , insulting bouquet I received for $80- $83. As I didn't pay for it, but was responsible for picking It out. And no, it wasn't made right! Good try in your response though. PATHETIC!

After more than a decade of consistently sending flowers through Sturtz & Copeland for both Mother's Day and my mom's birthday, I am compelled to share my recent disappointment. I ordered roses for my mother's 90th birthday, which were delivered on Thursday, November 7th. To my dismay, when I received photos of my mom with her bouquet on her birthday evening, Saturday, November 9th, I noticed that at least two of the rose heads were already drooping. This was especially disheartening given the $180+ I spent on the bouquet.

I contacted Sturtz & Copeland on November 10th via their website to express my dissatisfaction. Initially, I was informed that these were a special kind of roses that arrive with their heads fully open. I questioned this explanation as it didn't seem truthful. When I finally reached the appropriate contact, Jesse Schmidt, I was told that issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Given that my 90-year-old mom lives in Boulder while I reside in Phoenix, this policy seems unreasonable.

As a gesture of goodwill, Jesse refunded half of the total amount paid, which I find unacceptable. Thanks to this experience, my decade-long relationship with Sturtz & Copeland has regrettably come to an end.

Some friends and I recently wanted flowers for an informal memorial gathering. From the plentiful offerings at Sturtz & Copeland, each of us selected a unique flower to celebrate our departed friend. The floral team prepared a common container for us, reinforcing it by multiple means to support the different stem sizes we had selected. They then helped each participant to individually trim and place their floral gift, creating a simple but unique bouquet. When the bouquet was complete, the team prepared a carefully padded box for the flowers to travel safely to their final destination. They also took photos of our group. We were so grateful to the team and would highly recommend the quality and variety of the flowers, as well as the exceptional service. Thank you, Sturtz & Copeland, for helping to make our sad occasion a joyful and meaningful celebration.

I worked with Elliot at Sturtz and Copeland for my bridal bouquet, a pocket square boutonniere and a dog collar for my wedding. Elliot was so kind and listened to what I liked. The flowers were all so lovely and we were super happy. It was also really easy to order. We just popped into the store and had our consultation right then. Highly recommend!
