A hidden gem! I’ve been coming to Nelsen’s for a couple of months now. The staff is so nice and will tell you what you need to know for each plant. If you’re looking for something specific that they don’t have, they will definitely try to find it for you. Small nursery but worth it.

Every plant purchased here has thrived. There is an excellent selection of flowers, shrubs, trees, cactus and exotic plants that do well in Southern California, outside and inside. The customer service is absolutely fantastic, as well as the prices. The place is small but there is a lot to look at and find I never leave empty-handed. There are some pots, not a lot, but worth a look. Potting soil is good quality. Anything that is not there, they will order and/or find for you. Nice to find a plant store where you can ask the staff and get good knowledge about the inventory. Paradise for a person who likes digging in the dirt.
